I bought for my Granddaughter's third birthday and she loved it!!!
This a really nice toy which works as a clock for the child's room, a toy with music and also an educational toy with questions. Its very colorful and shaped as a robot, and is very attractive. It is a functional timepiece as well and educational toy. The best thing I like about it is that only the minute hand moves manually and the hour hand moves based on the minute hand's movement as in a real clock. The digital display also is in sync with the hands and displays the time as depicted by the analog clock. Its fun, educational and functional - a rare combination at the right price point.
Tock is a great learning resource for kids to learn how to tell time on an actual clock in this digital world! Interactive. Has a light feature. Songs to dance to. Even has games to teach time. There's a slight delay between moving the arms on the clock and when the robot talks to you. I would recommend for ages 4+.
This clock became my daughter favorite toy. I bought this clock because she loves robots and has night light but its turn out it has way more features. She and I having so much fun with questioning mode and clock blink light for alarms.. She took this toy for her show and tell and her teacher was impressed with this clock and told me that her friends were quizzing each other. This is definitely a fun way to learn clock skills. Highly recommended!
My daughter really likes this clock. The best thing about this is that it is a cute design and my daughter is obsessed with robots, so since it is kind of robot looking, she loves it. It's fun to move the hand around and have the clock be able to tell what time it is (though it does only do 5 minute increments, but I don't see that as an issue since it's best not to get bogged down in details when first learning). I like that this has a nightlight feature as well. I also really like that there is digital clock on it as well to help children connect the concepts of digital and analog. My biggest pet peeve with this is that you have to move the minute hand all around in order for the hour hand to move. While I get that this is a great way to teach that you have 60 minutes in an hour, it is quite tedious with young kids when you're just trying to show them what 3:00 looks like. Overall, this is a great learning clock that my daughter super loves.
My daughter loves her Tock the Learning Clock! While she understands the basics of telling time on a digital clock, she has not had much experience with analog ones. Thanks to Tock, she is now learning exactly how the hands of a clock work and what each of the numbers represents in terms of hours and minutes. The quizzes and music encourage her efforts. She also loves the nightlight and "Ok to Wake" light. When she wakes up in the morning, she is excited to see if Tock has turned green and it is okay to get out of bed for the day.
Tock the Learning Clock pleasantly exceeded my expectations. Upon initially opening it, I thought it was cute and my son could use it to practice telling time. As it turns out, it has way more features! My son really enjoys the music it plays, and we have had a lot of fun playing the time quizzes. He is getting the hang of setting the time much faster than I anticipated, and he enjoys the "beat the clock" aspect of the quiz game. The hands move easily, and the clock includes minute equivalents to help set the time (i.e. 1 had a small 5 next to it, 2 has a 10, etc.) It is functional in that it displays the actual time as well. The clock can be set to shine green to show him when it is okay to get out of bed for the day. A great product, especially at the listing price. I HIGHLY recommend it!
This little clock has so many fun functions! It teaches little ones how to tell time and use clocks through a "beat the clock" game, plays music, works as an actual clock, and has a mode that tells your little one when it is ok to get out of bed! A win-win for parents and kiddos!
Good for teaching time but the music button broke within a couple days.
My daughter likes this clock but it won't change past 12 when she rotates the hands. I've tried resetting it but it doesn't work and hasn't since we got it.
