Had an unhappy 'tummy' for years. Listened to a public tv doctor say your intestines are where you absorb what's good and can fend off what's bad: if they're healthy. Healthy means pro-biotics, especially as we age. I could not find another brand with the billions we should be taking and this works great! Plus, all the other good Swanson products work much better with a healthy digestive system.

Seems to be helping more than the versions with smaller bacterial counts
The cost of this product would make any sane person turn their head. However, I have a serious concern about the efficacy of this product given the fact that is not refrigerated. Admittedly, it goes right into the fridge when I take it out of the hot box it arrives in. It is action packed with many strains and FOS. However, many comparable products like the gold standards from Megafood and Udo's are refrigerated to preserve efficacy of the CFU's. Perhaps Swanson can speak to this.

In my opinion, this product is a total waste of my money. It didn't do the job it was supposed to do, but just the opposite. I will no longer be ordering any products from Swanson. Combined with products not doing the job, to really old dates of manufacture, to long delivery times, and even more negative things, I've finally decided not to waste my money buying from this company.
