This is a very nice item for either hanging around the house, running errands, or even a business casual office. It's a nice thickness and will keep you warm and cozy. I love cardigans and the pattern on this is very nice. The colors (I think the name of the pattern is Lake Placid) are a bit muted so this would go with jeans, dress pants, or skirts. This is just a normal cardigan, not cropped and not long. Which is why it's good for office, errands or home. Unfortunately, it bunched up in my underarms so I returned it. I have a somewhat atypical body type so I think most women, especially "plus" women, will keep it if they buy it. If I'd tried it on at the store I could have realized, but I had it shipped. I might get one in another size for my sister for Christmas, that's how much I like it. Give it a try!
