my 12 year old daughter has been asking for Legos. She wanted a few for Christmas. I wanted to see how she'd do with something on the smaller side but more than 400 pieces before spending a lot of money on one big piece. she has done a few smaller already. This was the first piece bigger than 400 pcs she did this in a few hours and she did sich a great job! I got her the bonsai tree as well and she did a greag job with that also which was recommended for 18 . She is 12 and did both in the same day.
Cute and quick build. Not as detailed as some other Lego pieces but price reflects that. Great addition to my Disney collection. Love the colors.
i had alot of fun with my daughter and wished it was alittle cheaper. $50 was alot but since were going to collect %26 do them all its an expensive hobby.the pirates of the caribbean is almost $1500 thats crazy.so that may be 1 we skip.there were extra pieces which was nice.it looks just like the pic on the box.
I enjoyed building this Lego set with my husband. We got it as a landmark gift to signify our debt pay off.
I purchased 2 of these from the store. One was fine, the other was damaged leading to messed up stickers and a ripped inner bag. As I don't collect the boxes, all the pieces were there, and I hid the inside of the build it didn't matter. As a stand alone the build is rather small. It does have some amazing details though. I decided to make the "upgraded" Up! house and it was totally worth it. In my picture you will see the balloons and a bit of roof are not done. That is because I am waiting on the additional 5 pieces needed for yhe modification. You are also seeing the build backwards in this photo. If you want to do similar you just need thise extra pieces and to build the entire set backwards. I highly recommend this set as is and beefed up to any child, kid at heart, or LEGO collector.
It is one of the best and most beautiful Lego sets!! As soon as it came out I ordered it immediately because I loved it from the first moment I saw it. It's worth more than its money. I personally brag about it from afar because I miss my childhood when I used to watch this movie almost every day (it was one of my favorites) !!!
I think is a great set, is a lot smaller than I thought and I would like to have a version of a complete house, the details and design are just beautiful
I Love this Up House! The build was easy and straight forward, it's a little smaller than I would have personally liked though. It's just a bit disappointing that key details are missing. Ellie's chair, a sticker for mailbox and a better page inside the adventure book would have made it perfect! I ended up making my own mailbox sticker.
This is way smaller than I thought,which makes it quite expensive for what it is.it does look good when finished,but there should be a Kevin(the snipe bird) and a Ellie chair as well but there isn't.nice build.
From the box to the post on the website looks a really good and fun set to build and add to the collection but upon building it was really impressed with some of the details and parts thats been put in to it from the sense from the film but the biggest part that lets it down is sadly the size and how cramped everything is in the set if there was an extra 5cm or so wider and taller just to give that little more room i personally think would show the features of this set a grate deal more and make it a bit more enjoyable and easier to see
