The grandkids love it.. .especially my grandson.
I have most of the Lego games but this one is different - in a good way. I was a little put off at first that there was no clear direction on this game. The previous games I played like Star Wars Complete Saga have "doors" you pick from 1-6 in order. This game has no "doors" but it is a free run-around experience with arrows that point to different levels. The hubs in each chapter (there are 6) are just as much fun to run around as the actual chapters are to complete. To date, I would consider this my favorite Lego game. One thing that is very hard to accomplish is the balloon level on one of the first chapters. There is one stubborn balloon that is very hard to reach jumping a jeep over a bridge. It is do-able but it does require a lot of patience.
I bought this because I played the original and I thought that this would be fun. There are some changes, though. Each movie (raiders of the lost ark, kingdom of the crystal skull part 1, etc) you have to unlock things for. I play it every day and I have had it for a few days. It is a fun game and I love it.
This wii game was delivered very quickly and is well worth the money, my daughter loves it..xx
This is a great game for kids. True to the films and lots of action. My grandson always discovers something new when he plays this game. He also has the other Lego WII games, which are also great games. Hope they come out with more Lego games for the WII.
A very fun game.
Just like most of the other Lego games it is a lot of fun to play. It follows the last Indiana Jones movie with extra thing to fight and do. Lego does very well with their games in following the movie of the game and also adding in extras. It's a great game for adults and kids, my grandson plays it and he is 5 years old.
My son has several of the Lego themed video games, including the first Indiana Jones, which he thoroughly enjoyed, so obviously we would follow up with part 2. He spends several hours playing at a time and I often find myself joining in on the fun!
Overall I am very pleased with this new release. I got it for my 6 year old as a Christmas present. He has had no trouble with any of the lego games for two years (except maybe needing a second person once and a while) so this gave me no fear of him having trouble with this one. This game is a little different as there is no "college" like in the first indy, but it is still very accessable. There are a lot of bonus levels and this can create very long playtime. The game lost one star because of the increase in playtime to get through a level. My son and I played once for three hours before I realized how long we have been playing, now I set a timer. One nice bonus about this one it that you can leave the game at anytime and it saves what you have done.
My 5 yr old son bought this game with his Christmas money. We own the first one for ps2 and enjoy playing it. LIJ2 is even better! It's perfect for smaller children because the puzzles are not too difficult to figure out. It's humorous enough that I don't mind playing with him to figure out the tougher ones. This one is easier to play because it allows a split screen when you separate from each other. My 11 yr old son enjoys playing as well. I think that this is a good game for families with smaller children.
