great little set.....a lot of details on the figures
i havent given it to my son yet but i think he'll love it even more than the one i thought i was getting.
I purchased LEGO Advent calendars (LEGO City) for my grandchildren last year. One was a 7 year old male, the other a 6 year old female. They absolutely loved them! Each little door contains a small figure or vehicle. The kids were excited each day and would sit together while they assembled their small treasure. This year I decided to try the Lego Star Wars calendar because we have enjoyed the Lego Star Wars cartoons. I was definitely the cool Grandma for choosing those.
Lego advent calendars are wonderful! This is our third year of purchasing one for our son and this is the best one yet! If you have a Lego and/or Star Wars fan, this will not disappoint!
I purchased this for my Grandson. He's a big Lego fan and he just loves it. It is made like a Traditional Advent Calendar with the little doors to open each day. It included varied items and things characters from the Mandalorian series . Some are really cute mini builds and some are classic character figures. It even includes Grogu (the child) which is really cute. If you have a Lego fan it's definitely a nice take on the Advent Calendar.
I get these every year. The kids really look forward to opening them every morning in the month of December.
For any Star Wars lego fan. I buy one for my son every Christmas. I would recommend you buy early, they tend to be sold out by mid November
I thought Grogu and the Mandalorian were cool figs, was surprised by the playability of the small vehicles. I only bought it for the figs, but ended up enjoying all of it. We def coulda used another fig but hey, it's lego, when do they give us everything we want. I have other big sets and was neat to put the mini speeders and ships in front of the large ones I got.
Bought this for myself and just started opening it for the season. The set up is great and it works as a piece of decoration as well. Unfortunately for each day, the build instructions are on the corresponding flap, and because I don't want to wreck the display, I have to pick up the whole box and sit it on my lap or a table so I can see the instructions as I put the pieces together. Would be nice if each day came with a separate piece of paper or something so we don't have to rely on the display for information.
This is easily the worst Star Wars Advent Calendar of them all. Numerous unnamed characters and little known ships. And to top it off, three, THREE dreaded weapons racks. What a waste of slots! I don't want one weapon rack, much less three. Feeling really ripped off and like this is some big “eff you” joke at the buyers' expense. This is probably the last time I buy one of these after this insulting joke of a build set.
