[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 7 long weeks of waiting, I finally got my laptop in early May! I've had it for about a month now and I give it 5 stars. The resolution on this thing is incredible (I got the 4k), and it's been great for work, including email, Word, PPT, Excel, etc, and some light gaming (Civilization VI). Haven't used it for too much on the creative side yet, but I tested the pen and it seems to work great too. I've read some reviews about the battery life not being the best, but it's been working plenty well for my needs - I was even able to use it for about 4.5 hours of video meetings on battery and there was still a little juice left. Great for streaming, and gaming has been easy on this laptop too. The fan can get a little loud at times but its not constant and frankly even when it does start going, after a few minutes you don't really notice it. The rotating sound bar is really cool and is good quality too. Overall, I highly recommend this laptop and look forward to messing around with it even more!
I absolutely love my Lenovo Yoga 9i! This laptop is everything I was hoping for and much more. The picture and sound quality are both superb.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feels bigger and heavier than we expected. Wish it had more USB ports. Otherwise very nice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After nearly a month of use I find this laptop to be the very best among all other laptops that fits my niche. Does it use one of the most top of the line drawing hardware and pens, aka Waacom? YES. Can I customize the digital stylus' buttons? YES. Is the display large enough to accommodate my digital workspace? YES. Is the laptop robust for my daily travels? YES. Does the laptop's performance exceed my expectations? YES. How about battery life? AMAZING! Can you play video games on it? YES, HIGH GRAPHICS ON 2020 FLIGHT SIMULATOR! YES, YES, AND YES! And most importantly, TWO THUNDERBOLT 3 PORTS FOR EXTERNAL GRAPHICS CARD! *drools* I am in love with this laptop specifically for its display size and digital drawing tech (there's no other laptops out there that has a 15.6" screen with Waacom capabilities!). Of course I'll drool over a 17" screen (if that is ever possible), but for now, this is the best of the very best. It meets my every day needs (& WANTS), and comes with a competitive price-tag. The laptop is all around metal, and uses TORX SCREWS! You know Lenovo means business when it uses TORX Screws to hold its laptops together!!! The sound quality is amazing! I hear the bass! And in Dolby's dynamic mode, it sounds surreal, especially for a laptop! The engineering in placing the speakers into the hinges is top notch! I love that it has two camera privacy options (one physical and one software through Vantage). This laptop's sleek, modern, robust, and intuitive design is something that a lot of power travel users crave for, and Lenovo has nailed it! The fans can get loud when the laptop is under heavy load (especially gaming), but that is to be expected. In my conference calls, zoom meetings, and so on, the fans are always on low and the cpu's never surpass 50 degrees centigrade (which I think is pretty superb). No one hears the fans during calls, and the video camera quality (although could be slightly better) is good enough for every day use. No body needs to see my receding hairline okay? 720p is good enough for me...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] an incredible, fast, light laptop very happy with my purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm thrilled with my first ever Lenovo purchase. Not only is the laptop everything I wanted....light, fast (16 RAM) and powerful (2T Solid State Hard Drive), the sales team couldn't have been more helpful in the selection and purchase process.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect laptop for almost anyone who wants a full desktop replacement in a potable convertible. The metal feels wonderful & robust yet light, that said, I wish it has a 32GB version.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is certainly a power laptop, but be sure you are prepared for the tradeoffs that come with the specs. First off, it's big. While the idea of a 15" screen sounded nice (I've been working on a 14" Lenovo X1 Carbon for years and thought moving up to 15" would be nice.) It wasn't for me - the overall footprint was just too big. It took too much room on my desk and using it as a tablet, it was just too big. Since I typically use external displays anyways, I realized that a 14" is the sweet spot for me. Second, battery life. Hovered around 3 hours doing stuff like internet apps and Office with no external displays connected. I got the UHD screen and so perhaps that, combined with the discrete graphics card, simply burns a lot of juice. I didn't try optimizing things because I figured if the baseline was only 3 hours, even adding an hour or two by optimizing would not cut it for me. Don't expect an all-day battery. Finally - it's loud. Again, perhaps it's the combo of UHD screen and discrete graphics that makes things hot in there, and when the fans come on full speed, it is quite loud. In the end I opted instead for a Lenovo mini-tower workstation w/ discrete graphics to run the high-end apps that I sometimes use. I'll be getting a 9i 14" with integrated graphics for my 2-in-1 laptop. I'm still giving it 4 stars because it is a powerful, high quality build, fantastic graphics, and if I could only get one machine that needed to do everything (function as a tablet for note taking, run CAD, video editing, play games, and be portable), this would be it. Docking 1 star for battery life because it would seem to me that when battery life is this low, they should have an option for an extended battery of some kind and also surely they can engineer fans that are quieter or venting that reduces the sound somehow.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop performs quite well! I currently use it to teach high school music both in-person and virtual. I have the laptop screen duplicated on a projector, and a second monitor to monitor my virtual students in Google Meet. I also run Adobe Premiere to edit videos for virtual concerts, sometimes running 25+ videos at once, with very little issue. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 was the garaged pen did not come with the computer. I am using the Active Pen 2 which works fine, but doesn't fit in the laptop's garage. You can't purchase the pen separately and customer service takes hours to contact during business hours, so finding a replacement pen has been impossible so far.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Laptop for the price i got it for! Amazing laptop, i have gotten the fully specced out version with 16GB of ram with the 1650ti and windows 11. it works great except for the track pad… the trackpad loves to just crash after closing the lid for more that 3 mins. i may have just got one with a slightly broken one but i did find a very simple fix. otherwise every other thing works amazing i can play all my favorite games them flip on battery saver and take it on the go!
