I recently bought this to watch my newborn baby girl. Straight out of the box this bad boy was already ready to go! Just plug and play. It's easy as 1 2 3. I love the HD LCD display and the ability to pan and zoom with the camera is so awesome! I never have to move the camera I just Pan and tilt or zoom using the handheld LCD screen. The range is very good too. I can go to the farthest part of my house and still get good coverage to see what baby girl is up to.
We have had this video monitor a little over a month now. The screen is HUGE compared to our last monitor by Levana. For us the picture quality is pretty good, whether it's during the day, at night, or upstairs or down. I rarely have the antenna up. We have 2 cameras so the large screen is great when splitting the screens. I like that it is a touch screen but it's not perfect. Sometimes I find myself having to tap/press the screen a few times in order to pan the camera, or when choosing something on the settings menu. I don't pan the camera often so it isn't a big deal. The intercom feature is excellent! I can clearly understand my husband when he speaks on it, and our 2 year old hears us loud and clear. The sleep timer and lullaby comes in handy for us. I don't really use the other features much, but no complaints there either. Overall this is a great monitor for us.
We bought this after searching many options. We have twins and the split screen was a must. The pros of this monitor are the large screen, the kickstand and the menu is easy to navigate and zooming in and out is great. Compared to our last monitor, the range is 2-3x greater which is a huge plus. The sound is great but one of the pictures is sometimes pixilated which makes it hard to see facial details. The battery life is great and we love that it is a standard plug. We do wish we could change the brightness of the screen as an added feature.
Bought my Aria online less than a month ago. Used it for the 1st time last night & LOVE It! Never had a video monitor for my previous 3 children & am with my purchase. I just think it is the coolest thing LOL
I bought this yesterday, replacing a more expensive monitor bc my puppy broke it. I'm happier with this replacement. It has a bigger screen, lullabies, alarm functions, the color resolution is good quality. I also like how when you unplug the portable monitor the screen stays on instead of shutting off after a couple minutes (my old more expensive model did this I hated that) My only complaint is the night vision. It isn't nearly as clear or comparable to my old monitor, it adjusts slowly in night vision mode. Overall I'm thrilled and happy with this system. I love the warranty coverage so if anything breaks or quits even if I drop it and break it, it will be replaced. I do recommend this over the more expensive monitors like summer that has zero features.
We just bought this monitor because we are about to have our second child and needed the split screen feature! The only problem we have experienced so far is that our room is downstairs and our son's room is upstairs and if you are standing in front of the monitor it will lose its signal, so the signal connection isn't great when using the camera on a different floor.
The first baby monitor we purchased back in 2014-2015 was a Levana and we loved it...however the antenna broke and since we are expecting another baby this fall, we needed a monitor that had a split screen. We ordered the 7inch PTZ Aria model with dual cameras. When I opened the box, the monitor was HUGE! Almost too big to functionally carry around. The display is ok during the day but at night, its so blurry that we can only make out the position our baby is in but all her features are fuzzy. We placed the camera the recommend feet away from the bed, and tried all setting options to make the picture clearer and nothing seems to work. With our old monitor we would be able to see if our baby's chest was moving as she was breathing, this one No Way! I'm not loving having to charge it every night either. Our last Levana could go days without charging and using it on sleep mode. Maybe its the size of the screen that requires extra charging time. Overall, I feel this monitor was not worth the $250 price tag. Maybe Levana can suggest a way to make the picture clearer or a different model that works better.
The monitor has some great features (lullaby, split screen, large size) but the video quality was disappointing. It's mediocre at best and we expected something better at this price point. It doesn't handle movement well at all and I can't see my little one's facial features well. We also found the sleep mode a bit touchy - it doesn't adjust for white noise like an air conditioner, even when we turned the sensitivity down. Overall, we're still using the product but I wouldn't buy it again if I could do it over.
I love all the extra features this baby monitor has to offer but the picture quality is awful. I basically can only see an image of a baby in the crib. I can not see his face clearly so only when he moves or talks do I know he's awake.
I purchased this camera because it was the largest monitor I could find with a split screen and it claimed to be HD. There were some nice features to it, but my main objective was to be able to see my kids clearly. I could not tell if their eyes were closed and it was super glitchy when they moved. It is by no means a high definition picture as advertised. I have had cameras in the past that were clearer and they weren't even HD. I just expected more for the price of this product.
