I REALLY DID MY RESEARCH ON A VIDEO MONITOR I WANTED TO BUY FOR MY DAUGHTER. AND WHERE I WANTED TO PURCHASE IT. THIS WAS SUCH A GREAT OPTION SINCE I DIDNT WANT TO PAY OVER 100.00. THE VIDEO LOOKS GREAT AND LOVE THE 2 WAY INTERCOM. MY DAUGHTER AND HER HUSBAND JUST LOVES IT FOR THEIR NEWBORN WHO IS NOW SLEEPING IN HIS OWN ROOM. THEY ARE LOOKING INTO BUY ANOTHER CAMERA TO SET UP IN THEIR 4YR OLD DAUGHTER'S ROOM. WOULD DEFINITLY RECOMMAND THIS TO ANY NEW PARENTS!!!
We just received this item from a friend and it gives us a perfect crisp view of our son, in complete darkness like it was day light. i would recommend this to anyone who is still a little nervous about leaving their newborn unattended because it has provided complete comfort for me as well as my wife LOVE IT!!!!!!! oh and i love that i can speak through the camera, because he has woken up and just the sound of our voices through the receiver has put him back to sleep. can thank you guys enough for putting out such a great product.
I've had this product now for a couple of weeks. I don't know how I lived without it the last couple of months. We installed above my son's crib and it is a life saver! The picture quality both during the day and at night is superb for this price. But my favorite part is the sound quality. Our old traditional monitor buzzed so loud I couldn't hear my son. This device is crystal clear. An added bonus is the intercom to talk to baby. This has already saved us trips to my sons roomin the middle of the night. Just telling him it will be ok calms him down a lot of the time. Love love love this product!
I absolutely love this monitor. I have only had it a few weeks but it has definitely saved me from worrying so much. I had an audio monitor before I got this monitor and it just wasn't good enough. Not to mention the audio monitor always had a constant static noise and bothered me at night. My baby sleeps upstairs and I sleep downstairs so the video monitor saves me from having to run upstairs every time I wake up and want to check on her. The video is very clear at night and there are no lights on the camera to disturb the baby. I don't use the monitor during the day so I don't know how well the color video is. The audio is also very clear and the video can be turned off if you just want audio. I like the PEEP mode since it turns off the video until the baby makes a noise then it comes back on. So the monitor never bothers me at night while I am sleeping with unnecessary noise or video. I researched many video monitors before I bought this one and I am very happy with my purchase!
We got this to use for our first baby. We wanted a good quality video monitor without spending tons of cash. This monitor is amazing. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I wish the night vision worked a little better. I would still buy this even knowing that! I love that you can turn the video part off at night and just have sound so the video part doesn't keep you awake or drain the battery. Great buy for a great price!!!
I knew screen would be small when I bought it, but worth reiterating. Camera quality is good, but ideal mounting distance is 3 ft higher/3 ft further away from projected view. Not a color image...at least from any video I have taken. Sound works well both ways. Night mode works well! Have a newborn and pretty happy with it. Would not be first choice for anything other than newborn/baby monitoring.
I liked the price and value for the features. I would have given 5 star if the screen was a little bigger. The screen is sharp though. The camera is small and compact but too light weight and easily moves from its position for one or the other reason. Also, pointing the camera in the right direction by rotating the ball joint is a bit non-conventional. The camera is good however. I found the signal did not reach even 1/4 th of the distance promised on the box in my house which is a normal construction but long. If the child's room is nearby, this should work fine. However, I did return this in favor of another more expensive unit with bigger screen, but still had the same signal range issue.
+ve Good Screen Resolution, Two-way audio capability, Lightweight, Night vision -ve Battery life is really lacking. You CANNOT have the thing unplugged all time. 3 Hrs is the max battery life.
love that I can check on my son with out waking him up. Only thing I don't care for is the sound is a little off (almost an echo) and the parent monitor (the one with the screen) blinks a bright green light while its plugged in (pain in the butt if its on your night stand blinking in your eye all night, but not too much of a big deal) Overall I would but this again
Bought this item once baby stated moving around. It was a good price for 2 cameras and one handheld monitor. I was very happy and impressed to begin with especially since this brand was new to me. I was a little skeptical about ordering from a unknown baby product company but when I saw that product came with warranty I decided to try. Everything was great the picture was clear, the peep feature and sound option was also great, the design. The over all look and size was great bc i could take it room to room with me. I would just stand on the little kickstand and do my work while baby slept. Unfortunately one day ( 2 weeks ago) the little kickstand broke. I didnt drop it or use without care, I just set it up to stand and noticed it was breaking. I called Amazon they directed me to customer service for company. They asked for details, pics and I sent right away...2-3 weeks later....have not recieved anything not even an apology. Now I have to find a little towel to lean this on each time I use which is very inconvienant. For this reason I would not recoomend and lack of customer service (from company not Amazon- they are awesome) I wish i wouldve bought another brand.
