I have searched and searched for a double monitor from Motorola , summer infant. I hated them all. We are due with baby #2 in Jan 2018 & currently have a 2 year old in a full size bed so we needed a monitor to keep an eye on both. I've set it up in both rooms. I love it ! The set up was an easy process, both mounted in each room. I love the power saving mode for night time & how big the monitor is. I'm a little nervous about the touch screen but so far so good! I've attached a photo of the split screen. The lights are off but doors open on both room. And still have an awesome picture. Camera is about 3 ft away.
I was provided with this product for free as part of an influencer campaign. My opinions are my own. Our family has gone through several brands of baby monitors, both of the high and low tech varieties. We were very impressed with the Levana Willow. I love that the camera is able to pan and zoom, offering a broad view of the room. It was easy to mount and even comes with wall anchors to help hang it up. You can also just place it on a shelf without mounting anything. The extra features on this unit are pretty neat too. You can set alarms on the monitor to remind you about feedings, you can speak into the monitor to communicate through the camera unit (talk to baby), and the camera unit can even play nature sounds or lullabies, so you won't need a separate white noise machine. The only thing I would say that this unit is missing would be a nightlight. I do wish there was one on the monitor. It would also be great if the camera unit had a battery like the monitor does. You won't be able to use this while camping as the camera does need to be plugged in, but this is an excellent monitor for home use.
We are loving this monitor. The video quality is excellent both in the light and the dark. It was easy to set up and install the camera. The signal can be weak at times and I usually have to keep the antenna up, but otherwise I have no complaints. The pan/tilt/zoom feature is amazing! I can use the camera during the day while my little one is playing in her bedroom floor and pan the whole room to check in on her. At night time I'm able to focus on just her crib and zoom in to see detail. The camera is as quiet at a mouse when moving. Overall I'm very pleased!
I bought this a couple weeks ago so that I could have a camera on my one year-old child in his room and a second camera in the basement to be able to use the intercom feature and talk to my older children when they are playing down there. It has been wonderful for both uses. Being able to use it like an intercom and talk through it to my children has been great ! It serves every purpose he would want as a camera on a young baby as well. I love the fact that it has a temperature future because I can see if I need to turn off the fireplace in the basement for the kids as well or if I should add an extra layer for the baby to keep him warm at night. Great camera system !
We love this monitor for a few reasons: -The screen is nice and big and most importantly clear! I can see everything my baby is doing, including her little breaths while sleeping -The camera looks great in our nursery -Plays music -Monitor is wireless! -Camera pans, tilts, etc -Ability to add more cameras -Super simple to set up!
I am very impressed with this product, I will be honest, I am a new mom with four month old baby girl and also research products to death before purchasing them. In fact, before this monitor I had purchased and returned 3 other products. I was looking for specifics like the temperature feature, lullabies, and a super clear picture. This product delivers on all fronts! The only reason why I did not give this a five star rating is it would have been nice to incorporate a lock option to always keep the monitor on. If you are playing lullabies and have the option set to sleep mode the picture will stay on all the time, which may be a distraction while you are sleeping. It does this because the picture in sleep mode is activated by sound/movement (which I love if I am not using the lullaby setting and baby cries). Also, I have noticed the temperature feature is off by 1.5 degrees. This product is light weight, durable, the 5 inch screen is a bonus and extremely easy to use. Highly recommend!
I switch from my Anglecare monitor to the Leana willow cause i wanted a monitor that had tilt/pan features now that my son is older and moves around more in is crib. I love this monitor, the large screen, being able to add multiply cameras and all the extra features. The video is super clear although there is a slight lag that can make the feed look a bit choppy. It a great camera for activities baby or if you have multi children.
Just recently bought this after researching for the best monitor on the market. I love how big the screen is and all the features that come with it. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the camera seems to lag a little bit. When my daughter moves around it kind of glitches. Otherwise I'm super happy with it so far. This is the first monitor I've ever purchased and I don't think I'll ever go buy a different one!
This monitor works well, I have been using it for about 3 weeks now. The only issue we have is that the video is really distorted and fuzzy, NOT clear at all. The only time it isn't distorted is when we have the lights on, even during the day. It takes a while to switch over to night mode as well. Other than that it has good distance and the battery lasts for a while.
We've been using the Willow for a little over three months now and enjoy most of the features provided. Unfortunately, the touch screen doesn't handle a drop well and cracked when I went to slide it into my jacket pocket and missed. The feed from the camera still shows, however, the features accessed through the right half of the touchscreen do not. I was unable to move the camera which became a problem when my son stated scooting around his crib in his sleep. I tried to buy a replacement but the company doesn't sell only monitors which is strange because they sell only cameras... I just received the replacement and am having issues pairing both sets which would have been helpful... if it hadn't cracked so easily I would like this much more; maybe Levana should design a case as I'm sure life with kids means things will be dropped from time to time....
