[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my LG GX 3.1 channel high res sound bar is awesome. It was very easy to set up and connect to my tv. I used the optical cable because I tried to use a hdmi cable but it wouldn't work. After reading the book it said my tv may not be compatible with the newer technology in it. I tried the optical cable and it works perfect. The sound is amazing and it gets really loud. The bass from the subwoofer is good too. My while 2100 square foot home shakes from it! The sound bar connected to my phone easily once I turned the Bluetooth on my phone on. It sounded great. The remote isn't that bad. It is small and has all the necessary buttons on it. It was easy to adjust the source or the bass and treble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this soundbar at a discounted price in exchange for our honest opinion, and also based off our previous experience with LG home entertainment products, and we were not disappointed with this one! The packaging is plain, but its what's inside that counts at the end of the day right?! It was well packaged, and came with easy to read instructions! The installation process was very simple, my only complaint being there was no anchors to install into the wall. the template for where the brackets should be located was very helpful, and made the installation that much easier. After the few wires needed to connect it to our television, was ready for the test! We 1st tried it on out gaming system and we were not disappointed with this sound bar's performance. A little bit of fine tuning the setting really made this sound bar's performance worth its weight in gold and then some, although the AI feature is very neat and helpful for one that isn't familiar with the tuning a sound system. So far we have watches many movies and every time we have been satisfied with the performance that this sound bar gives. When not using the television, we hook our phones up to it via the Bluetooth feature for some background music while we eat or read. The remote included hardly has had any use, since it has synced up to our television remote without intending to. I'd definitely recommend this to my friends and family, just the other day our neighbor took notice of how great it sounded over by his house! This is sure to impress all, even the local law enforcement when you get a little carried away and crank the volume to the max!

It came well packed and love the build quality, the clothing material it comes wrapped with feels premium. The setup process took me only about 10 minutes including the unboxing , i received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest feedback!

The soundbar and subwoofer came nicely packaged and protected. As I opened it up I got to see how sleek the design is. The pictures do not do it justice. This is a one of kind product. Mounting was one of the easiest setups with very easy to follow instructions. It fits flush against the wall like a picture frame. It really is a thing of beauty. LG really hit tit out the park with this one. Connecting the soundbar was as easy as 1,2,3. I used the hdmi arc port and the soundbar just automatically connected. After that I plugged the subwoofer in and in a matter of seconds it connected wirelessly to the soundbar. No need to press any buttons. Its literally plug and play. Ready to go in seconds. I switched to bluetooth connectivity and It was also up and running without any issues. I decided to play a movie with great sound effects to test the limits of the GX soundbar. I chose Transformers. The sound was so immersive it felt like I was in the movie. You are able to hear every distinct sound coming from the movie. The subwoofer really puts this soundbar over the top. It sounds so clear with great bass. The combination of this soundbar and subwoofer really fills the room like a movie theater. Next I tested the soundbar by playing the new avengers video game on ps4. You literally feel every move the character is doing on screen coming from the soundbar and subwoofer. From a wall breaking or hulk doing his signature smash. You can hear every distinct sound on anything you play. While playing Spotify it literally sounds like you are having a concert in your house. In conclusion this is by far the best soundbar on the market. From a flawless sleek design to crisp and clear sound. I was blown away by the sound the GX can push from such a minimalistic design. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Pair this up with the GX oled tv and you will have the best dynamic duo on the market. If you want the best sound and picture quality on the market this is the way go. I Really do not have any complaints, I am beyond happy with this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had many soundbars but this is definitely the nicest I have ever owned. This sound bar looks amazing and pairs perfectly with our LG GX TV. We have a 55” GX model TV and didn't notice this sound bar is 65” so it doesn't match up exactly but it still gets the job done and looks ok. We mount all our TVs so the soundbar mounts perfectly below our LG GX model TV and is much thinner then expected which made me wonder when it came to sound. The subwoofer sits nicely on our floor to make it feel like the floor is shaking when it's on which we like and it was pretty easy to set up but I did notice there aren't a lot of sound options which surprised me. We like the movie option the most since the sound with the subwoofer gives you a movie like experience. I like the thin design of the sound bar and how easy it was to install on our wall. The remote took some time getting used to but is pretty basic. It's better when you can pair it to your TV/cable remote. This Soundbar was specifically made for OLED GX Gallery model TVs and since enhances the sound. The sound bar is Bluetooth enabled and can be paired with compatible devices and Dolby Atmos allows you to hear every note, every sound and every word in stunning clarity. I like how their aren't a lot of wires involved other then the plug and one HDMI wire that goes from the TV to the sound bar you can't really see. The sound bar combines Meridian sound technology, Dolby Atmos, DTS-X and HiRes Audio (up to 24bit, 192KHz) for highly-realistic audio performance making any content-viewing or listening experience far more immersive. I bought this a couple of weeks ago, to complement the Gallery 65” G3 OLED that I purchased. The sound is good, but not the best. My main issue is it keeps losing connection with the TV using eARC. I am using High Speed 48Gbps 2.1 HDMI. I wish I would have tested it longer, before cutting and mounting it on the wall. Is there a firmware fix for this one?
Same issue as others. Sub Woofer stopped working about 2 year mark. Soundbar by itself is awful. I have a Sonos system on my other Tv and has worked great for many years. Very Disappointed especially for the price I paid expecting quality.
This product is trash. The subwoofer stopped working just outside the warranty window, just like the other reviewers said. However much I liked some of their other products(the matching GX TV), I would think twice about ever buying an LG product again after this premium priced product died. Realistically, I should have known better than to spend so much money on equipment with such a short warranty, but I trusted the brand. Don't be like me.
