This monitor has honestly changed my sim racing experience. The wide screen allows for me to use my mirrors, and fit more car information on the screen if needed. The best part is the picture! It's stunning! Buyers remorse quickly left after I started using this monitor. If you have the money, consider this monitor.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 38 inch version of this monitor because I though the larger one would be too big. This is a perfect monitor for video/photo editing. I'm not a gamer so cannot comment on its gaming ability. Color calibration and rendition is wonderful. May buy another one to place above the one I purchased.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, stop looking, this is the best value for the money. Light weight, adjustable angle and up and down is so easy. The mechanism to raise/lower is amazing, no more headaches, arching my neck for proper viewing angle. The picture quality using the display port is beyond expectations, zero lag, nothing beats LG quality and value, I'm impressed!
So far I got what I paid for. Resolution is fantastic and I'm only using 2560 x 1080p native resolution. Can only imagine what my experience would be like if I was using the full resolution of the display, but I would have to buy a new computer. The wide angle view is awesome; great for working from home. The optional onscreen control is a must have if you want more than the standard dual split screen option. I could never go back to a less capable display.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 4 months ago and have been using it a lot for work, entertainment, etc. The picture quality is awesome and the overall built quality is pretty good too. This has an internal speaker as well and I have no complaint about the sound quality. Overall, I highly recommend unless you want something extra like UHD or 144HZ.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been working from home since the beginning of Covid and finally took the plunge to buy a large monitor so I can stop using my laptop - to have once place for all my screens. And I couldn't be happier than my LG 38" monitor. The screen is beautiful and I was up and running within 3 minutes of opening the box. I now get excited to work! :)
Brilliant monitor for my office thanks to it's OnScreenControl software that lets you split up your large screen in a very intuitive manner. Then the USB type C plug has allowed me to move my mic and camera plugs into the back of the monitor vs into my MacBookPro with a bunch of adaptors. Took me a while to figure out that you have to bluetooth the monitor to your MacBookPro to control volume on your wireless keyboard. The only downside I've found is that I can't figured out how to adjust the brightness via the keyboard. Oh just call BeachCamera, they were great, which is rare anymore.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a number of years I would argue that “the fonts don't show properly on Apple!” Sorry Apple…My screens were getting old and I decided to take the dual setup into one wrap around. Only challenge was the size choice. I ended up ordering an LG (all TVs are Samsung) and setup was very easy and screen operational in no time. If I'd have anything negative to say it would be on me. Two more inches would have been perfect. Anything else would make me cross eyed.
I recently had to replace an HP Z38c 38" monitor, and all the reviews said the LG 38WK95C-W is the best. So far, it has lived up to the hype! The USB-C video and power transfer allowed me to shrink my setup considerably, requiring only a single cable now to power my laptop, pass HD video, and connect audio. The only "downside" of the monitor is it does not lower as far on the stand as the Z38c. This isn't a big deal for most people, but with my setup I would have liked another inch or two lower. #sweepstakes
Excellent monitor, using it as in place of 2 monitors. On screen controller software is useful in terms of splitting up the workspace. Bought it thinking it can display 2 different source concurrently, but not have had success, as firmware does not have the PBP (picture by picture) capability. #sweepstakes
