We bought this a month ago and could not be more pleased. Already cleaned it using self clean feature and still looks brand new.The air fryer is the best feature!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the purchase of the oven. We really like the way the oven works and we can see the status of the oven online. The only one thing that my husband does not like the knobs the way they designed, some need to be to right and some need to be turn to the left to put on high heat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I couldn't be any happier with it. It brightens up my whole kitchen. I am 76 years old, so I'm no tech guy, but my daughter-in-law will be here this holiday weekend and I'm sure she'll put it through its paces.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this range for about 2-3 months now and so far we love it. We have had no issues with it whatsoever. The only opportunities for improvement would be a better drawer. It is very flimsy and is not easily removable. The stick on logo has sharp corners and catches rags while cleaning. We still can't find the optional air frying rack in any store or online. Not sure why an air fry range wouldn't have the rack included.
Though overall looks for this range would be a "5", I'm giving it a 3. I realize it takes a while to get used to a new range when you have had another for several years. However, after just a few months and many boil-overs, I found that the left front "quick boil" burner would not always lower it's temperature when turned down. I've had to call in someone to fix it as it was surely a fire hazard. Another inconvenience is the different sizes of the burners. They seem to be either too large or too small for normal cookware. Hence you are either wasting heat or not covering the full service area of you pot or pan. The biggest inconvenience has been the lack of lights indicating which burner is still hot. There is only one light for all 5 burners to indicate a burner is on and one to indicate when it is still hot, but no indication for which burner. I find this to be very dangerous as it is guess work as to where the heat is on your stovetop. The oven is beautiful and very large. Yet, I'm not so sure about the evenness of the cooking. I'm still out on that one and need more time to experiment. I definitely cooks hotter than my last oven.
Oven works great and stove top works great, but the issue is with the quality of the material used in the production. 16 months after owning the LED display has started to fail. The number on the far right, the center LED has failed, so when you get numbers such as "8" it displays as a "0" (zero) instead. 27 months of owning the oven, the glass on the inside of the oven door completely shattered about 15 minutes after taking something out of the oven and the oven was turned off. The door was closed and we heard a loud *POP* sound come from the oven area, but couldn't figure out what the issue was. It wasn't until the next morning when we went o use it and opened the door to find the glass had completely shattered.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do not buy this range, horrible product, within less than a year the the filament in the front burners were done, burnt my meals that were being prepared. The second year same issue and again this year as well.
I bought the stove 1 year and 8 months ago and the main burner is not working anymore. It is the one in the front that is mostly used. Warranty won't cover it because a year has passed but can't believe they only expect their appliances to last 1 year, very disappointed. The top is hard to clean and easy to scratch, will not be buying LG again.
I would not buy this product. Only one burner works efficiently. The oven does not cook evenly. The back part of the oven will burn whatever is towards the back. For example, bacon. The oven in the inside is covered in blue and that blue is chipping and I have never used an abrasive cleaners or cloths. I have been disappointed with all my new L G appliances. I had bought a long time ago (13 years) a washer and dryer that was WAY better than what they are making now. Super disappointed in all my purchases.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is incredibly disappointing for the price. First huge negative is that it plays a chime when you do nearly any oven function. For example, when you use the bake function to preheat, it plays a 10 second melody that is extremely loud. You cannot change the volume, or turn this chime off. What happened to the simple beep from decades past? The second and worst thing about this range, is that the glass scratches extremely easy. The first time we cooked with this unit, we used pans that are designed with SS bottoms for glass top stoves and they scratched it terribly. I've cooked on 3 different glass tops over the years and have never scratched one. This may be a LG specific issue. I will avoid the brand if they refuse to cover it.
