[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been few days using the sound system and so far I'm in love with the sound quality. Set up was so simple, the rear speakers connected without any problem. The sound at looks great with my 86 lg Tv and in the future I am planing to mount the lg sound bar under the Tv on the wall for even better sound quality. With built in google assistant I am able to control sound volume and listen I my music without needing to use the remote.
Great product overall. Among Dolby atmos Sounbars there are not many choices when we talk about one with wireless subwoofer and 2 rear with upfiring speakers. (Samsung and Nakamichi that I can think of) I was very satisfied with overall performance. It had emersive sound as promised and especially Dolby atmos surround effect was comparable to Samsung Q90R Soundbar. Even though Samsung Q90R has clearer/brighter sound signature than LG SN11rg, this one definitely deliver better full emersive (movie theater like) experience when you are watching movies. Setup was super easy since all components (Soundbar, subwoofer, and 2 rear speakers) speak to each other wirelessly. On top of it, included Google assistant with built in chromecast was total bonus. It did respond very well to voice commmands. Customer service was easy to reach and always came back with quick response. I felt like all customer service agents were always trying to come up with actual solution for the issue instead of providing general troubleshooting process. I was very pleased how responsive they were. I felt Beachcamera is always on top to fulfill customer satisfaction. I'm very pleased with purchase and I will definitely come back to Beachcamera for quality product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to set-up and experience the LG SN11RG Soundbar with Meridian Technology. Setup of the LG SN11RG was pretty straightforward, and although most components are wireless, a power supply cord is still necessary. This may minimize your ability to position the speaker optimally. The unit is lengthy at almost 60-inches, and so it did not fit in our console cutout. However, because this soundbar houses speakers on the sides and on top of the unit, I would not have opted to put it inside anyway (afraid of sound distortion). Set-up with Google assistant made it virtually effortless for me to link this system with my Spotify and Sirius XM radio. I was somewhat disappointed that the unit came with only an optic cable, rather than an HDMI cable. Because the Dolby Atmos is only accessible through the ARC pass, an HDMI is really necessary to maximize sound experience. Despite this (I purchased my own HDMI), the LG SN11RG did not at all disappoint in regard to sound quality. As an avid technology buff, I was excited to see the Dolby Atmos come to life when this soundbar was coupled with our 86-inch LG television. The sound output with Meridian technology is crisp and clean, moreso than any previously owned soundbar. The sound enhances total television experience while bringing the picture to life with sound detail. I absolutely love watching football, as this soundbar makes me feel as though I am in the audience! Gaming with this soundbar has also been a terrific experience, as the sound simply fills the room. The most subtle sound details can be heard on the surround sound speakers-- a totally new experience for me. I do wish their was a manual knob for bass adjustment, but the system seems to be fairly adequate with self-adjusting bass and the highs/mids/low ranges. Overall, the quality, performance and audio output from the LG SN11RG Soundbar has far surpassed my every expectation. Exceptional sound quality, exceptional television!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So LG has definitely put out a power house!! From the unboxing and the absolute quality of the speakers. The sound is amazing. They are house shakers! No kidding, on the Bluetooth setting and with my favorite streaming device cranking, my house has a little shake to it. No matter the level the sound is clear as a bell. So watching the first NFL football game of the year the sound of a game are just next to none. Even with a limited crowd the surround sound was amazing. The setup of all 4 speakers were as easy as it can be. Except for getting the audio to sync, more on that in a second. The sound bar I the main brain. Once that is hooked up then everything falls into place. Setup the sound bar then plug in the subwoofer. It auto syncs to the sound bar, same with the rear speakers. So easy to set up!!!! So back to Audio sync with the TV. I had to call Samsung which is my TV brand to instruct me on how to sync audio. Very easy to do, I just didn't realize with sound bars that had to happen. Once I found that it was easy! The only thing the I had an issue with is the wall mounts. Not really a big deal but the angle of the bracket wasn't exactly 90 to the wall. So I had to bend a little to make speakers square to the wall. Over all this system is amazing. The price is pretty high but well worth it! They are House shakers!!!!!
Arrived before time probably wrapped and no damage.the set very easy.would suggest to use the earch hdmi.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 2 months ago and I love the concept of it. what I mean is the way LG put all those speakers in the soundbar and side speakers, it is awesome. the sound fills the room and gives mostly a submerged feeling, however that bass is WEAK. Surround sound is supposed to be "felt as well as heard". The bass on this system is very lacking. To be completely honest it is an okay sound for a medium quality system, I expected more. My friend has a 65w 5.1 and when his bass hits or there is an explosion in the movie you can feel the concussion wave... I wish for such a high rated system that LG would have given more. Technically speaking I have to say that "Yes" this system is ATMOS and it does it very well. Could not give it a 5 though because I know what I paid for it and it should have done better. It will feel the room and I would still recommend this is you have spacing or power issues. Hope this helps someone.
Ease of use (10/10): Setup is insanely easy. Just plug in the speakers, connect to your Wi-Fi network, and the satellites and bass connect automatically. Features (8/10): Google Assistant integration is excellent - it turns this thing into a giant, overpriced Google home. It's super easy to play music on it from any device. It also has a mobile app that you can use to customize all the sound settings. It's probably the only soundbar on the market right now that supports the latest HDMI 2.1 specification. My only complaint is that it only has two HDMI input ports. Customizability (6/10): There aren't too many settings to change on this system, but it still gives you excellent sound quality out of the box. You can: - Select an EQ preset (Auto, Bass Blast, Standard, Movie, and Music) - Make quite and loud sounds balance out during movies (there are like three settings for this, and it's hard to tell what each one actually does) - Modify the Audio/Video timing offset - Set the woofer/center/overhead/side/rear speaker's relative volume offset - Run room calibration (I didn't notice a significant difference after doing this) - Use the TV remote to turn it on and off - Set a sleep timer All the soundbar's settings can be managed from the LG Wi-Fi app on your phone. There is no low-pass/high-pass or custom eq mapping ability. Sound quality (8/10): Powerful bass, ok mids, crisp highs, and very loud (it's like being in a movie theater) without sacrificing sound quality. The main bar is a little heavy on the high frequencies, probably because of how thin the bar is and how small the mid speakers are, but it balances out if you decrease the highs and bass volume. I went with -2 treble and -4 bass on the AI Sound Pro preset. Aesthetics (10/10): The bar is super thin, which is great because it won't block the view of your TV if you have it on a TV stand. The satellite speakers are also relatively compact for having front and top firing speakers in the same unit. All the speakers have an elegant, brushed metal finish, and the branding logos are clean and subtle. The bass is covered all around the front and sides with a fabric cover. Build quality (9/10): Everything is mostly made of metal or hard plastic and feels very solid. I'm docking one point here for the bass being covered in a tearable fabric. My biggest complaint is that the soundbar creates its own private Wi-Fi network to connect to the other speakers, which means you can't put a Wi-Fi router within 3 meters of it, or it will cause interference and constantly shut off your Wi-Fi network. I ended up moving my router about 4 meters away and hard-wired all my nearby devices to an ethernet splitter. However, it still sometimes causes my Wi-Fi network to go down when the soundbar powers on. It only affects the 2.4 GHz network, so if your other devices are on a 5 GHz network, you should be fine. Also, the LG Wi-Fi app is somewhat confusing to use and looks a little outdated. The descriptions for each setting are kind of vague and poorly written. You have to just toggle things on and off until it sounds good. Overall, I give it 4/5 stars because of the weaker mid-frequency sound and annoying Wi-Fi interference. That said, I upgraded to this soundbar from a 550 watt 5.1 surround sound system with a dedicated receiver, and I definitely won't be going back. Although I miss having a more balanced sound with bigger mids, this is still the best sound system I've ever owned. I would recommend getting it if you want a future-proof, theater-like sound system without having to deal with the hassle of a traditional wired system.
Pros: love size of soundbar, sounds great, love extra features in app cons: expensive, harder then I thought to connect to app, rear speakers could sound better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hear most of the sound on the soundbar then the sub woofer and the rear speakers, using my LG tv
Very difficult to make it to work. Doesn't sync. The unit looks like a refurbished and the package is delivered in a beaten up box. I couldn't find the electric wires for the rear units as described on the box. Didn't expect this type of unboxing experience for a near 2K soundbar.
