Purchased a month ago, replaced a 15 year old top loader Kenmore along with a 15 year old dryer. I am totally amazed at the almost no water used, the cleanness of the cloths and then the dryer takes half the time to dry compared to the old dryer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I had this dryer for almost a month and it does a great job of drying my full load in about 40 minutes. At the end of the cycle, clothes are dry and not damp. It does have enough options for all type of fabrics. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Large capacity is the way to go...make life so much easier to wash anything size load especially king sized bedding. It is smart and intuitive as well as connected to WIFI...love it. LG is way ahead. The clothes come out cleaner than ever and smell wonderful.

After months of research, we are happy we went with these LG models. An added bonus was salesman informing us we would be able to use Alexa to turn washer and dryer on. After reading manuals, appears it is not Alexa compatible, yet. Otherwise, would have rated 5 stars. Hopefully we will be able to use soon. Love the height, ease of access to clothes while standing, steam choices, quiet and so many other great features to choose from. I was skeptical at first about purchasing set with the kickstand pedestal washer. I use it all the time! And have I mentioned just how great the set looks? Highly recommend!! LG is a brand that I have trusted and always casted my dollar vote, because they stand by their brand. It does do the big and little jobs with ease. We have a big family and use our appliances often and use them hard. This machine so far has stood to test and past. Had this dryer for 3 weeks and it went out. Called LG and they tried to make it my fault. When they couldn't, sent a repair person out. But the real sign that they knew this dryer has issues is that the part for the unknown repair came to my home BEFORE the repair date! Never again.
We designed our laundry room to have front loaders with a counter on top - today was installation of the washer and dryer and we got a surprise when we saw the detergent goes in the top of the washer and the water for the steam cycle goes in the top of dryer. It is an 8 inch setback so the counter would be much smaller than what we designed and paid for. Now we can't return these and in order to fix it we need to get new units that have everything in front. There was nothing clear in the link to the units so our designer would never have known and because of Covid I didn't go to a showroom so I didn't know either. This should have been clearly stated so this could have been avoided.
Bought in 2016 and the motor and the harness burned up. For spending that kind of money it should have no problems for a long time.
