I have been using tracfones for a long time, but never used a smart tracfone. It took a little getting used to, but I Love It! It's easy to read once you know the widgets and I followed the directions that came with it to set up my voicemail, etc. The phone is large enough to hold but not overly so like the Apple. I like the color white and it still fits neatly in my small purse.
This phone was very easy to set up and easy to transfer information from my old phone. Great for texting, and using goggle search. The camera takes pretty clear pics, if you enjoy posting them like I do.
Needed to upgrade my traction it a smart phone. Had no problem transferring my number and remaining minutes. Still learning it but likening it. If it lasts as long as my old phone I'll be real happy. Only down had to order a case a screen protector from Amazon
I've been a tracfone customer for a long/long time. Everyone should use them. If they don't they are loosing $$$$$$. The Destiny is fast, easy to use & is 8GB. I can't believe such a good deal for such a low price!
I am new smartphone LG 21G destiny buyer user. Is simple to use instructions come with phone. TracFone is very helpful online as well as on phone. Gives explicit data usage phone usage and messaging. Love triple minutes and 90 day usage rates. When not heavy usage per month is simple to lessen usage without auto per 30 day billing without rollover data, phone, messaging.
Absolutely the best phone I've ever had, love it! It was easy to use right out of the package like it better than the IPhone I had for a week, the Destiny is easier to use, and takes great pictures, setting it up was quite simple and like that the back is white! The screen is easy to read and see it still notifies me on calls and emails, I just love it. Recommend this phone to anyone and everyone. Therese C. Pittsburgh
First phone I've had I could easily operate. Learned to text. Very easy to use, excellent battery life. Bought one for wife and liked some much bought one for me.
This is the third one for our family (well, actually the fourth if you count the one that ended up in the bath tub) The phones work great and if you limit your internet use to WIFI only and you don't spend a lot of time on the phone, you can probably get by with average monthly costs of $9.00 to $15.00 dollars. Of course it's a prepaid plan so there are no actual monthly bills, but if you average it out over time it would be about that per person for our family.
I'm really not familiar with all the features yet so I can't review them all but here's what I've found so far: The screen is just the right size and the phone fits well in my hand. I must not be as discerning as some of the other reviewers because the pictures I've taken look just fine to me and the few songs I've downloaded from my home computer sound good too. The only complaints I have are (1) I've never had a phone that didn't tell you when your message was sent...my last phone had a little circle that let you know it was being sent and once it was, the word "sent" popped up on the screen. The L21G Destiny has neither. (2) I downloaded the user guide but it's 98 pages long so I'm sure not going to print it out! I've had to look up some things a few times at home but when you're out and about, you're out of luck. (3) It seems to me that there are a lot of extra steps for the functions I have learned so far...like to shut it down, you have to click through 3 screens. I not known to have a whole lot of patience but I suppose in time I'll get used to it! I's not fancy and it doesn't have as many bells and whistles as my last phone but for the price, it's a good little phone.
I was more than a little afraid of the new phones, but this one is easy and simple enough for me. I find it easy to get the programs I want and to use it.
