As a matter of fact, I would have paid more for it! The only thing was before I could use the wifi you have to get a good phone reception for them to activate it. NOT activate the phone service, but activate the programming that allows for the wifi to work. In the area I'm at the Verizon service doesn't seem to be great, so it took a while for it to work, but eventually it did. I still don't have it activated as a phone, I use it essentially as a miniature tablet. Wifi fully working...and in case of emergencies the 911 call should still go through.
I was sick of paying the monthly bill for my Sprint iPhone 5s' but was afford to get a inexpensive prepaid phone. I did so based on the reviews here and I am glad, I did. The phone is easy to use with a lot of great features. The size is perfect for me as, I do not like the idea of holding a tablet to my head. Try it, you just might like it too. Love the price, love the phone, love the Walmart Family plan!!!
I bought this phone over a week ago and so far, I love it. However, I did have an accident and cracked the screen, so what I would really like to review for you is the 3rd party protection plan wal- mart has for this phone. I called it today and they told me that getting the phone fixed only applied if you have a service phone, even though the plan specifically says pre-paid phones $40-$59. They told me I had to send my phone in and they would reimburse me the money to get a new one. Unless you want to do that, I don't suggest paying $9 for their so called " protection plan".
This is my first smartphone. It works great. I learn different things daily. This is also pop up help when I am doing things for the first time. Its great for me since I needed to use apps for certain transactions. I don't use a phone a lot so it's perfect for me. For anyone who wants to install and use a lot of apps it's just not the phone for you. Choose which apps you really need, also suggest download, free virus protection and optimizing apps. I have had no problems this is my second LG phone and I am loving it!
This phone is sturdy and a good deal. It can be used as a mobile hotspot and serves the purpose for which I bought it. There are two things I would point out though: you cannot go on the internet when you are on the phone, and you cannot block numbers. I believe the second thing is due to me having pre-paid service though, so it is not due to the phone's own limitations. These are not deal-breakers to me, but since I did not know these before actually using the phone, it seemed good to share. I got this phone to try out pre-paid service, specifically with Verizon. So far, so good. I am very happy with my purchase.
This phone arrived literally hours after I placed my order. The seller accepted my pay when it arrives method available through my Paypal checking account option... which allowed me to get my much needed working phone before I got paid today! I can't believe how nice this phone is and how perfect the screen size, weight, and feel are for $65 (INCLUDING OVERNIGHT DELIVERY)!! Overall I love it and am so pleased I will tell anyone and everyone to make this purchase!!!J
I was genuinely surprised at how much I liked this phone. I'm still something of a noob when it comes to smart devices so maybe it doesn't take much to impress me, but this phone does everything I need it to and then some. I recently started a job that required a smart phone to take pics, send emails, etc. and this phone does the job with flying colors. No complaints I can think of.
I purchased 2 of these phones last week, and me and my wife couldn't be happier with them. If you just need a basic smartphone I would recommend looking at this one. So far the only negative thing I can say is the volume for the ring/notifications could be louder..sometimes hard to hear it in a noisy environment. Other that we have no complaint's with this phone. We use it mostly for texting, but calls sound and work great and apps open quickly and run great. For the money this is an excellent phone.
I got this to see if I wanted a smartphone to use instead of my Blackberry. It taught me easily how to use it. I believe it has most apps a "really good" smartphone has. I am now into my fourth month and am shopping for an iPhone. This phone is perfect for kids, I just wanted to try one first.
I was hesitant to purchase this phone because of the price. I figured that no phone for a price of around $50 would be worth the trouble. I bought it anyway as an experiment. I love this Android based phone. It doesn't freeze up, opens apps as fast as you touch them and I can download a number of apps. There is a shortage of space though. I installed a phone optimizer and that cleans all the junk from my phone and has great suggestions on how to save space. It works for me but I do more research on my phone than play games. Whenever I find something I don't like about the phone (which is hardly ever), I remember the price I paid for it. It is a good phone for twice the price.
