Very nice phone im enjoying it more every day
This smartphone is very smarter, great features and very valuable. It is easy to use and I fun with it! Zero problem.
The LG Thrive is my third LG phone, my first was a VX series, then the CU500 and now the Thrive. I love LG phones! They have innovative features, are very well constructed, brilliantly colored screens with world accessibility. These phones I have owned were mini computers, even before the PDAs and other chip generated phones. A step ahead in mobile communication ingenuity. I've read some negative reviews about the LG mobile phones, but my suspicion is that they didn't read the manual and experiment with all of the abundant features offered. There are weak points, especially in the cost department... but you do get what you pay for in a superbly constructed product. I'm waiting for the day when I can reasonable buy a LG phone which is not affiliated with any telephone carrier and yet be compatible with all, world wide. Thanks LG :) keep up the good work!!
I got this phone about 10 years ago and it is still alive and kicking great. Now, I did update it to android 2.3 but still. Great phone. I had the phone through assurance when I first got it. Then I changed carriers, now I have Tracfone. Anyway, Great phone great products.
This is a horrible phone! It comes with TONS of JUNK pre-installed apps that use up all the memory. It constantly locks up, goes blank, freezes, etc. For the price you pay this phone should be ALOT better! It takes forever to open up most apps. The camera is slow... I just have nothing good to say about this phone... My previous phone was a LG and it was awesome, sad to say this LG phone is a total flop!
Button sensitivity is poor. video screen during apps blinks off so if app requests you push a certain item on screen, screen is blank. Texting to your own e-mail account requires a set up procedure. Dumb phones do not. What's with that. Phone gets very hot when on longer calls. Sending (texting) pictures is agonizingly slow and sometimes won't send, but delegates picture to drafts instead. Since screen blinks off (a lot) setting up outgoing message in phone mode is extremely difficult and trying to end outgoing message can't be done with a blank screen. Expensive phone and is difficult to use. I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone.
I have had this phone for a little over a year an it is the worst phone i have ever owned nothing but problems with the phone. and i will never own another LG phone if i have it my way. about every 3-4 months you have to do a factory reset on the phone.
I've had this phone for over a year and it is honestly one of the worst phones I've ever had. It freezes up a lot, the volume, including in-call volume, is terrible, there are so many pre-installed applications that you can basically not download any of your own applications, and it tends to be very slow. If you're looking for a very basic smart phone that serves the purpose of a mobile device that you can occasionally use to get online, but you're still mostly just interested in using it for the occasional phone call or text message, this may be a phone that would be of interest to you, but otherwise, I highly recommend avoiding the purchase of this phone.
