They fit snuggly into my ears right out of the box and stayed in place until I was ready to take them out. The sound quality is excellent and if you feel like changing the bass or treble levels, the app offers a variety of settings that are sure to fit your needs. The added benefit of the UV nano feature helps to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria which is a welcome addition in this bacteria laden world that we live in.
Tuned by meridian DSP, the LG FP9 are packed with every feature you can think of and then some. They sound absolutely fantastic with a musical delivery over clinical or flabby and fun. I have personally purchased these earbuds multiple times since they've been out. I am so impressed with them, I often give them to friends and family as gifts because they are that good!

These buds are way more comfortable and fit my ears more easier. The case is now Matt Black finish and fits easily in my pocket. LG states that the FP9s are compact, they did not lie! The new design is more flush and don't stick out much. I have been talking on my buds and a stranger thought I was talking to them as they must have not seen them to I pointed at my ear LOL.. They are so lite I forget I am wearing with them. The buds fit perfect and securely. I have jogged with them as well as other outdoor activities and they stay in place. They have a IPX4 for sweat and rain resistance. They have the Meridian-tuned sound. The charging case has anti-bacteria UV which kills 99.9%. It also comes with different size medical grade ear tips so you get a perfect fit. The battery life last me enough to make it thru the work day. If you need more 5 minutes of charge will get you 1 hour additional. I don't have to hold my phone and just communicate with my buds. The active noise cancellation works great as well to cancel out background noise. The call quality is great and my contacts said they could hear me loud and clear. environments. Another great feature is the “Whispering Mode”, where I can take one bud out and use it as a microphone so that I can speak quietly. This is real good if I am in a meeting or somewhere where I don't want to cause a distraction. Listening to music or the TV was outstanding. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG Tone Free FP9 comes in a small box with very good instructions and an easy to use application. Right out of the box the small Matte Finish Case looks cool and smooth, when opening the case the blue UV Light turns on and when the earbuds are taken off the case they right away pair. The pairing is very easy, download the app (optional but best way to do it) open the case and long hold the Left channel to start pairing, then the phone will ask if ok to pair and just follow the instructions. The earbuds have 5.2 Bluetooth version (newest) so they have a long range. The sound is superb, it comes with preset EQ but you can customize to your preference. I really like the noise cancelling, on a plane, train or any other place where I feel like I want to listen just what is on my earbuds just turn on the Noise Cancelling, also when I am running I will turn on the ambient noise so I can hear the traffic and my surroundings while listening to what I like. The next best thing I like very much is the option to listen to a headphone jack without the wires to my ears, simply connect the jack from the device to the case and the case will send the sound to the earbuds. For example, at the gym, treadmill, or plane they only offer the headphone jack, so just connect the wire to the case and that is it. The sound is amazing and I am enjoying them every day. I bought these because my FP5s finally broke. ANC, comfort, and fit are all amazing. I love these as they are amazing since the charging contacts are on the stem (meaning theyre good for thise with metal allergies), and they fit incredibly well in small ears. 10/10

I bought this for a trip so that I can hook into the plane on a trans Atlantic flight and be wireless. So far I've had several complaints about people not being able to hear me through the ear buds. Sound quality is good though.
