My second V60 phone. I sold my blue phone because I wanted a white V60 and found a brand new one in the LG box. Audio quality with headphones blows away every other phone. Even just using the built in speakers have give very good, and loud volume. Picture quality is excellent, expandable memory, and a headphone jack! Screen display is very good, and the big display size is great. Very importantly, LG has been keeping its promise to continue backing its phones with security and operating system updates and warranty support. If you want a still high end phone, at a reasonable price, the V60 is it.
I purchased this phone a month ago and fell in love with. I had dropped the accessories part it had a crack on the first screen. I sent it get repaired by LG and got it back in no time. Now I'm back in business now. I love having the 2 screens business on one and games on the other screen. LOVE IT.
Why are people complaining? Read the manual or YouTube. This phone is like having two devices in one. 1st a great handset with everything you could want or need & a high quality audio player w/ a headphone jack no dumb adapter required. The closest thing available is a Sony X3 that's $1400 & relies more on software than hardware which is strange considering Sony makes some of the best stand alone audio players. The V60 has a DAC chip that allows the phone to compete with stand alone audio players. There is nothing else like it on the market at any price. The dual screen case is good the camera is great you can do HD video people are spoiled this phone is $400 right now (July 2021) I'd pay twice that if this broke. In fact that's what brought me here i wanted to see if LG even makes another phone (a newer phone) with a high quality DAC. I've had this for 2 years zero issues with the handset itself the dual screen case could have been built stronger. The Dual Screen Case has come apart a couple time luckily my awesome wife is great at putting things back together the screws are small & the case has fell apart a few times the last time she glued the edges & you can't even see it - better than new. I get the planned obsolescence thing, it's ridiculous i'm just saying i know it exists it's wack & companies obviously care more about profit than the planet LG is no different & every smartphone i've owned has been an LG the G6 before my LG V60 still works but has issues that can't be remedied & the G3 before that bricked. I take care of my devices but i'm clumsy at times. I've dropped this phone with the dual screen case probably 6 or 7 times i thought for sure the screen would be cracked when i picked it up...nope the Dual Screen Case saved the day but it's also likely the reason it's falling apart now still I've heard people say that even without dropping the phone the dual screen case isn't as well built as the handset. I feel that you can feel the hinges getting loose when you open & close the case which i try not to do very often still not a scratch on the handset itself from all the times i accidentally dropped it & a couple i would have understood if the screen had broke. I'm 6 2" one time i dropped it from just above my head i was doing something & had it in my hand another time it fell from the top of my near field monitors which are almost 6ft from the top both times it could have broke from the height & way it landed but i wouldn't test this to see if i got lucky a third time. The case is sturdy when it comes to protecting the phone. At the same time all those drops could be why the case has fell apart but there's still the issue with the hinges. I have a really nice spigen case as a back up should the Dual Screen finally break completely. As for the functionality of the dual screens i barley ever use the 2nd screen. Idk why i just don't so as long as the handset is okay it has a home if & when. This thing has so many features & i have a good carrier (as in signal quality not as a corp) 5G works in the NYC metro area where i'm from i haven't been on tour since the pandemic started so i can't comment on 5G nationally or internationally but how do ppl not like this phone? Could the screen be better with the icons looking raised like a Samsung or iPhone maybe or the Camera yeah but if that's what you wanted why didn't you just buy an iPhone they were the same price when i bought this with the Dual Screen Case. The main reason i bought this phone is because i like straight forward form & function design, LG phones aren't fancy they get the job done that matters more than the lastest greatest gimmick the Dual Screen wasn't the reason i bought this phone the Quad DAC was. That made it the perfect phone. I'm a music producer/beat maker & audio engineer i started DJing when i was 13 i care about sound it's what i do for a living & it saved my life so music & audio quality matter to me. I've listened to music on other phones with wireless headphones...nope. I'm staying with my LG V60 & a good pair of wired headphones all day/everyday. It's never dropped a SMS text or call the BT & WiFi work flawlessly & i watch Netflix on it when im not working what more could you possibly need? That's my 2 cents if you care about audio quality not the built-in speaker for that if you want to use your phone like a boom box with any phone buy a Bluetooth Speaker. When i say audio quality i'm talking about plugging in a pair of headphones & not needing a separate amp to drive them. Playing lossless audio files & the audio from your wired headphones sounding better than any other phone you can buy if that's what you want this should be at the top of your list. It's also a really good phone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent phone, fast with good storage a battery that lasts all day the camera is amazing in photos and video the speakers sound super clear and loud and the dual screen the best accessory of all super useful I could not go back to using a phone with a single screen ever again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent phone, it is fast with good storage, the camera is spectacular in both photos and videos the speakers are loud and clear, and the dual screen is incredibly useful I could not go back to using a single screen phone.
The LG V60 exceeded my expectations. Not only did it have great battery life I have not really felt any lag in the applications or overall usage. Video recording is amazing using this device. It really suppresses background noise to focus in on what you're recording. I'm going to miss LG cell phones. I hope they reconsider and produce more phones since no other manufacturer gives attention to a 3.5 mm headphone jack with insane sound quality!
Hands down the best phone I have ever bought I was going to get the new galaxy but I promise this v60 is better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE MY LG V60 ThinQ. Mostly I love the Dual Screen but no other phone has that feature.
I've had this phone a couple weeks and the mic seems to go mute during phone calls. I can still hear the person on the other end, but for some reason they say my mic is going in and out. Based on online search, looks like many people are having this issue. Is LG planning a fix?
I really liked this phone but the charging port completely crapped out, without any exterior damage. Before you buy, PLEASE search v60 charging port issues on the net and you will see an army of disappointed customers.
