Awesome
Bought it for a gift!
I found this phone to be good, not excellent, but good. The only problem I found with it is the keyboard. It triple repeats letters as you text -- until you get used to texting with it then it doesn't repeat any letters. It is very annoying. I got used to it and don't have a problem texting now. Boost had a promotion so I got it for free and for being free it is good deal and a good phone, if I had to pay for it there are better choices out there. I still think it's a good phone and nothing more. Considering features it is not average, but the poor keyboard doesn't make it excellent either. I would only recommend it if you get it for free
I hated the way the pics came out on my Desire510 so i wanted to get a better phine with a higher megapixel. My Desire510 had a 5pm rear facing camera. The pics from my Volt 2 8mp camera are a lot clearer and better in general. Not IPhone quality, but so much better than a 5mp cam. I'm loving that i only have to say "cheese" to take a pic or selfie wit my Volt 2. The volume and power buttons on the back get some time to get use to. In general, im a fan of this phone and the price was right.
I just got this phone two days ago and so far pretty good. The battery last all day. Nice screen, takes good photos. I added my 32g sd card and comes with 8g. The only thing that I had to get use to is the power and volume buttons.
Ive had this phone for a couple weeks now. The second day it started actting up. Alot of times the keyboard wont work when im trying to text so i have to close out my messages and go back to them. Apps dont respond when u try to open them u have to tap it multible times. Most of the time i dont know when i get a text because it wont ring. No memory for anything. This phone will be going back.
One reason I bought the phone was because one of the listed features was it could be used as a mobile hotspot. My Volt 2 did not have that option. I called LG once and emailed them a couple of times. They said they are having their software engineers look at he problem. I not sure I understand the problem, the Volt 2 has been out since mid 2015. How can I be the first customer that has encountered this problem. LG needs to fix this problem asap or have all the companies selling this phone remove this feature from the spec for the phone. Very misleading. LG please issue a software update or replace the phones. Other than the issue with hotspot, it seems to be a good phone.
my mother has boost mobile i thought i would buy her a better phone then she has and when she recieved the phone it did not work at all she took it to a boost mobile retailer and he recommend her to take it back it would not even connect to the server or net work so i rate this item as sucks...........
Lg was having trouble and they wont help me so i will not send anybody i know to any boost.. I have only jad this phone for 17 days and it has done nothing but cause me pombles and nobody will help me...
