Considered the world's numero uno-selling tropical music/slasa singer, new York-born Puerto Rican Marc Anthony practically defined the word quot;crossoverquot; with his 1999 English-language multi-platinum pop album Marc Anthony. Libre follows the tradition of his previous salsa works, Otra Norta, Todo a Su Tiempo and Conta La Corriente and the hits collection Desde Un Principio/From the Beginning, all of which led the way for Marc to be the reigning king of salsa.
