I was looking for a fun and colorful rug for our guest bedroom that our grandchildren use for sleep overs. I found this one on the wal-mart website. My granddaughters really enjoy it. It's the perfect size for little feet and is really helping them learn at the same time. Love it!
Got this for my 4 year olds birthday. Decorated her bedroom with Tink products: squishy pillow, snow globe, frosted glass lamp--beautiful, Tink TV, couch, and hopscotch rug. Didn't want to gag on lime green... instead used sage greens and pale lavenders. The carpet isn't obnoxious in it's coloring... it's more muted. It's fun and easy to wipe clean. It's a great way to burn some energy on snowy cold days or rainy days when they come.
We got this for my 3yo daughter as a Christmas present, and she really likes it. It's something to burn off energy on rainy or cold days (and she can hop on that thing forever!) and we've used it to teach numbers. Very happy with it.
I bought this rug for my 4 year old and she LOVE LOVE LOVES it. Not only does it look great in her room she plays in there for hours on it. If you have a child that plays well alone and likes Tinkerbell then you should totally get this rug.
We live on the coast so this rug has been a lifesaver this winter! It's too cold and windy to play outside, but my daughter has a blast inside playing hopscotch-another plus not having to wash all the sidewalk chalk off her clothes!! Great value, I priced this on other sites and would have had to pay a lot more. It's cute, durable and goes well with my daughter's room, she doesn't even have to put it away after using it, it looks like part of the decor...worth every penny!!
My 3.5 yr old daughter wanted a hopscotch for Christmas, and this certainly did the trick! It is much more convenient than other indoor hopscotch games in that you just lay it out (and, of course, less messy than chalk). It functions great as a rug also, like for sitting on to play other games. The only complaint I have is that it has been impossible to get the folds out and make it lie completely flat, but that doesn't seem to bother our daughter.
My girls are constantly trying to draw hopscotch with sidewalk chalk. I thought this would be a fun, easy alternative. The quality of this rug is average, but they can use it inside on rainy/snowy days and outside on the patio on nice days. Having bean bags to toss is a bonus. perfect size, easy to roll up and slide under a bed or stand in the closet (roll up the bean bags in the rug then use a velcro strap to hold it together)
I bought this rug for my niece for her 7th birthday & she was thrilled to get it. Even comes with little bean bags to use as your markers. However, this rug comes folded in a bag and a couple weeks later, there is still creases from where its been folded. 50/50 on this product.
My five year old daughter wears shoes sized 11 (Toddler) and her feet wouldn't fit into the squares completely. This product may be suited for other younger kids with smaller feet! However, the mat is well made, doesn't slip on our hard-wood flooring and yes I would recommend it.
Rug is very cute but I believe the packaging of the product ruined it! The rug came folded up. By doing this it created creases and where there are creases, there are no carpet fibers. I've tried to vacuum, etc. with no luck.
