Have been using this product for over 10 years. Great product especially if you are training hard or trying to stay on your game as you get older.
Glutamine is an important amino acid with many functions in the body. It is a building block of protein and critical part of the immune system. What's more, glutamine has a special role in intestinal health. However, I use L-Glutamine to chase off sugar cravings!! During my introduction to Intermittent Fasting - the sugar cravings about did me in. High protein is great, but getting off the sugar addition was a tough road for me. Looking for a solution, I found that L-Glutamine has many great benefits AND when I take 500 mg at the first sign of hunger, those cravings disappear in 10-15 minutes and are gone for hours. I take L-Glutamine for post exercise muscle recovery. I am especially impressed by how well it helps me recover from squating, my most heavy and strenuous lifting.
I suffered from serious UC and was hospitalized multiple times with surgery. I lost a lot of weight and needed to completely rebuild my health condition. I've been using this product for some time now and with my other supplements and going to the gym for resistance and cardio training I'm probably in some of the best shape of my life. I'm 67 and coach skiing in the winter in Colorado and even at high altitudes I can see a difference in my ability to recover under stressful conditions. Great product.
