I like the design that allows the chairs to be stored flat and keeps the option of them tipping over or falling off very low. The assembly takes some time. We bought 4 and were down to 20 min on the last one. Give yourself an hour for the first one.
Prior to purchase, I had been trying to store my 80 lifetime chairs by strapping them to 4 wheel dollies. That did not work out very well. So, I looked around and found these. Glad I did because they work great. Each one holds 32 chairs/16 per side. However I put four more on the top of each side, for a total of 40 chairs on each rolling cart, and use ratchet straps to lock everything down. It works great for us. I highly recommend these Lifetime Chair Storage Rolling Carts.
Just what we needed! This thing is large enough we have room for expansion but small enough it still fits through the doorways and is maneuverable! It took a little bit to put together as there are many parts. But it was not difficult and the instructions are pretty good! The bottom line is we love it.
When I ordered this cart they said delivery would take 2 to 3 weeks. It arrived in 7 days by FedEx from Utah. Cart is made in China, but comes well packaged with all metal parts wrapped in plastic. Drill driver and ratchet wrench will aid and speed up assembly. Lots of different length bolts, nuts and washers, but all parts were included and when finished I had NO leftover parts! When finished and loaded with 32 chairs, it rolls easily but as the instructions say, it is easier to maneuver with two adults. Overall its a well built cart which I expect to last many years.
We recently bought 200 Lifetime folding chairs to use for banquets. We also bought 6 of these racks. Each holds 32 chairs. They are great for storing the chairs and makes moving them around easy for our staff. The racks are shipped unassembled and are heavy. A few tools are needed to assemble but the instructions are easy to follow. These racks are sturdy and well worth the investment we made to purchase.
Bought a pair of these units for a local church. Assembly instructions were less than desirable. All major framework was there but not all hardware. One bolt had no threads. Assembly as described would have been unbearably long without use of power tools (not in instructions.) The units are heavy duty and of good appearance. One unit steers easier than the other.
The cart nicely stores many chairs. It is somewhat easy to assemble but two people are helpful for the task....instructions are good. Only negative is that the wheel assembly is very wide and the cart just barely goes through a storage room doorway. It is best to have two people at either end of the cart to guide it when moving to a location of use, mainly because of its size and weight.
It goes without saying that when you own 100 of the Lifetime Chairs, you'll need to store, move and keep them handy for setup. This cart is well built enough to handle the task. However, it was a PAIN to assemble. In hind sight, yes...I could have left out a few layout mistakes. But having said that, it remains to date one of the most time consuming assemblies of its kind. I'll let you be the judge of that, yet it was one of those necessary evils associated with this product. I do believe that several of the assembly pieces could have been designed and packaged without the need for so many bolts, nuts and washers. I believe it could have been manufactured with enough foresight to reduce the assembly time in half for customers.
Hello, I placed an order for this particular item on October 9, 2016. Received my order on Friday, October 14, 2016. I opened the box and put it together on October 24, 2016. While I was assembling this unit I heard a clunking noise, but I couldn't tell the source location within the unit. As I was almost done with it I notice a visible crack on one side of the base (CJG). I then started looking at both sides of the base (CJG) and saw more than one crack. I am sending photos of these cracks. Please let me know what you can do about this matter.
