Simple to put together and very sturdy. I was really concerned that the pole would be wobbling around making it hard to play, but it has been great. We've had it for several weeks now and it's holding up great to the frequent use in my home daycare. I don't have to worry about the 2nd graders being too rough. Even my husband and I can play with no problem. Perfect for someone who doesn't want to permanently install a pole in their yard.
Overall it is good, but my ten year old daughter wishes the bottom was a bit heavier. We have water in the bottom of ours. If we put sand in it, she would probably like it better because the sand would be heavier. We just haven't tried the sand yet. The quality of the ball is good, but it could be a little harder. Overall, she and her friends really enjoy playing with it, and I think it was money well spent. Be careful, because I played tether ball with her the first two days that she got the tether ball court, and I got tennis elbow which has been very painful. This is not the fault of the tether ball product, but I am just warning adults to be careful with their elbows.
