I am very happy with my purchase from Sleepy Tracks. The tracks block out all the light my roller blinds used to let in. The customer service was also amazing. Bob was quick to answer any questions I had and helped me select the right tracks for my blinds. This product is amazing and is essential for anyone with roller blinds!
We installed these in our nursery and in our main bedroom and they made a huge difference in eliminating the light gaps that our cellular shades left. The room is nearly pitch black with the exception of the small light gap at the bottom of the window where it is clear that whoever built our house didn't know what a right angle was. Definitely reccomend this product!
Had one pair made custom with the magnets on the inside of the tracks. Before I ordered I measured the clearance from the frame around my sliding door where they were placed and it seemed it would work. So to test this out I ordered one pair. I had returned a previous pair because the magnets were not on the correct size for what I wanted to do. The return was no problem. Tried out the custom made and they worked perfectly!. Ordered 3 more. These are great to keep about 98% of light out. I used a tin clipper and scissors and measuring tape to tailor these to my remote control roller shades and they worked great without jamming.
I have blackout blinds installed in my bedroom. While the blinds block out the light; around the edges, not so much. Since I am a light sleeper (pun intended :-) I decided to try Sleepy Time Light Blocking Strips to find out if they would solve this problem. The difference was night and day! So, now I'm not awakened when the sun rises. Depending on your sleep preferences that could be good or bad. But for me it is wonderful. Initially I purchased only enough tracks to treat the two windows in the bedroom, because it was a tough sell to convince my wife that the 'good' of blocking out the light would outweigh the potential 'bad' of adding them in front of our window blinds. But, after I installed them, she thought that the tracks framed the blinds and made them to appear more elegant. Perhaps needless to say, I will be busy installing more Sleepy Time Tracks.
I am very happy and pleased with my purchase with Sleepy Time. They had exceptional customer care and took a-lot of time explaining to me how the product works and also helped me figure out what I needed for my window treatments. The product is doing what it is promised and I would recommend this product for anyone that needs to have total black out experience at night to sleep. WOW! I recently moved and did not realize that there was a street light outside my bedroom window that makes you feel like you at Universal Studios City Walk. I purchased blackout shades and they worked fine. However, there was stil bright light coming from the edges. I installed these. (EASY) and now it is so dark in my room I need to turn on a light to see where I am going. I mean it is REALLLY DARK. They work and easy to install.
Perfect for what I needed. Blocks out the unwanted light coming through the sides of my blinds. My only regret is that I didn't order 2 sets. Also great customer service.
We have a 6 month old who needs her room to be dark when taking naps. We bought black out shades and curtains but nothing helped the light from coming in from the sides. A quick google search and we found SleepyTime Tracks! Worth every penny! Our little one sleeps so much better now which makes her parents happy campers! 10/10 would recommend and I have to other Mommas of newborns!
What a great product! Easy to install. Installed on the sides of an east facing window. Worked so well at cutting out the early morning light that I ordered a single bottom track but used it for the sides of two, short transom windows. Now I can sleep in here in northern latitudes where the sun come up very early in the morning with daylight savings time.
We are having an issue with one window were the shade goes down partway and then stops. You can see the pencil mark where it does stick. After a number of attempts, I removed the track so the shade can go down all the way.. There is a very small amount of light that does come through on the sides and bottoms of the windows . Can you suggest what to put in at the top of the shade to block out the light, that would be helpful. Thanks.
