I absolutely love this and eat it on sandwiches for lunch almost every day. Unfortunately it's gotten nearly impossible to find at Walmart lately. I hope it's temporary and that it comes back in stock soon!
Excellent food. I eat it quite often for lunch. It tastes no different from regular turkey slices to me, but I've been a veg for years.
These are nice for adding a little substance to a sandwich. Flavor is mild, and the texture is good. They are not as flavorful as tofurky brand, but still good. My family enjoys them on grilled cheese, but they are also good with lettuce tomato and mayo.
Trying to replace meat to be healthier. I used to use turkey slices on an egg sandwich I make and I was looking for a plant-based replacement. Tried Tofurkey, but it was HORRIBLE. I hated the taste. Then tried this and it was much better. Still not as tasty as turkey slices were, but I could definitely eat this. This is the best plant-based turkey slices I've tried. For some reason it's disappeared from my local Walmart shelves. Kroger has a less tasty brand, but since I can't stand Tofurkey, at least it's something. Hopefully Walmart will start selling this again.
Low price. Has the texture and taste of low quality bologna. Which makes it a high quality meatless deli slice.
Taste is pretty gross, but I didn't know what to expect because I haven't tried veggie turkey before. That can be covered up with loads of hummus or whatever you put on your sandwich. Texture is good.
