You can safely use concrete screws with a drill to secure this item.It holds ample weight which is what I was looking for. The item is very durable and we are heavy weight people so I am pleased with not only wheelchairs and walkers can use it but I roll groceries up the ramp to. Just make sure you are connecting it to a one step process and not too steep. Most people have more than one entrance to there homes so they can see where it fits best. It might not be your front door area,maybe a side or for us the back door area. Every home is different,whatever works for you but its well made and it works.
Sturdy, easy to use
I am 92 yrs. In May . The ramp is just what I needed for my walker. It is a little heavy but I can manage. Will order another later.
Our ramp broke on our wheelchair van no money to fix it. We saw this small ramp and used it on the other van door to get my grandchild out of the van. Works wonderful and very strong. Could be used in side also.

I wish I had seen this sooner! It saves my back from straining to lift my Father in his wheelchair up the step between our Family Room and Kitchen. Our Family can now enjoy meals together. I bought the ramp for my Sunday School Class. We have a lovely woman who uses a wheelchair, and this ramp is ideal for her. The room cannot have a permanent ramp, so this portable ramp is just right. I am happy, the lady is happy & the two men who were lifting her over the step are happy!!
The quality is great. The problem I am having is that the slope is too steep for the step at my patio door. We will save it to use at a later time.

I just received this ramp and it is going right back for a refund. There is no safe way to attach this ramp to the doorway. They forgot to add a lip area to rest against the opening so the ramps easily slip away from the door frame when pulling up a wheelchair onto the ramp. The underneath also has an area with poorly cut metal with sharp edges. I have no idea who designed this ramp but it is clearly defective and unusable for the stated purpose.
