I marked do not substitute on several items, one of them was substituted peanut butter bars instead of soft peanut butter cookies totally different flavor good thing my kid likes most things peanut butter she'll eat them but they aren't even close to the same thing.
The Little Debbie snacks arrived partially melted and smashed. Still edible, I wouldn't order them again this time of year!
Basically, this is some sort of semi-soft long round cookie stuffed with what they call peanut butter. I cracked one in half. The peanut butter didn't budge. I am assuming that is the bioengineered ingredient they mention. I tried it after refrigeration, no change other than the very thin layer of chocolate didn't stain my fingers. This was a substitute for Tastykake Kandy Peanut butter things. Thinking I can use these mini bricks of PB and mix them all up in vanilla ice cream. My one splurge a month, bummed.
