This is an excellent toy for a young tot to teach hand and eye coordination and as the child gets older it gets taller to continue their play. I am totally pleased with it and so is my grandson . Be sure to weight it well.
We love this. (Especially my husband, who has always wanted one of these.) I got it for my 1 year old, but I love the adjustable height so it works well for my 3, almost 4 year old. I almost got the cheaper version that doesn't let you adjust the height, but I'm glad I didn't. We'll get a lot more use out of this one.
I am a grandmother of 4 boys ages 1-9. they have all had the LittleTykes basketball goal. They are wonderfully made and are great for the large muscle development as well as lots of fun for the kids. They have all loved them and greatly enjoy playing "basketball" on their own level.
Both of my children like this toy. It is safe for the younger one as well as the older. Can play indoors or take it outdoors. Great for boys or girls.
My 2 year old grandson loves to throw balls into the basket. This is a very good value. I only wished I could have shipped it to the store instead of paying for delivery.
My youngest (2) really wanted to play basketball with his older brothers (10 & 14) but of course he is too small. This was perfact to put off to the side for him to feel big and it will grow with him until he can play with the "big boy hoop"
Bought this for our sons 2nd birthday. It was easy to assemble, has an adjustable height, and our son immediately loved it. Would definitely recommend it.
My almost 2 year old loves the basketball and hoop; it is just his size and can be adjusted out of his reach so I know it will grow with him. It doesn't hod his attention for long periods of time, but I think that has more to do with his age than the toy.
I purchased this for my granddaughter a few weeks ago and it has had very little use. The ball that comes with it stays in the net every time we score. It has proven, so far, not to be much fun for my granddaughter, but that could possibly be because her interests lead her to other activities that she enjoys more than basketball.
The quality of this product has really gone down. I purchased the little tykes goals about 8 years ago and they were so much more sturdy and durable. The plastic of these goals were cheap looking and very "flimsy". I was disappointed.
