My 12 month old grandson loves this swing set I purchased for his birthday. Just the right size for him and he should be able to use for a few years. Was easy to assemble and made up of strong & sturdy materials.
Our grandson loves his swing. He is an energetic little guy but the swing transformed him into a mellow fellow and he fell asleep in 15 minutes during his first swing. The swing motion is not wide but perfect for a baby or toddler. The age recommendation of 1-4 years is way off, as older child would not like this swing. The price was fair (not expensive) as it won't last him very long. Set up was easy but 8 screw holes were not drilled through.
This product was easy to assemble and is light enough to be easily moved from location to location on the deck but sturdy enough for me to feel secure to have my grandchildren play on it. My granddaughter who will be one year old on Saturday absolutely loves to swing and play on the slide.
I purchased this set as a birthday gift for my 13 month old and I was worried that it might be a little to big for him however it ended up being the perfect size. He is able to climb up the "rock wall" without any issues and loves playing with the ship steering wheel and telescope before proceeding down the slide. The only con would have to be the swing does not swing as high as you might expect though for his age it works wonderful. I would recommend this as a beginner swing set for any parent with an on the go infant.
Very sturdy. My son-in-law put it together in less than an hour. My 18 mo. old twin granddaughters started playing on it before it was even finished! They love it. AnnaGranna
Held up well to (5) 25lb toddlers. they were very gleeful and happy they could play on the equipment with little assistance from the parent, during a play date. This grandma is now considered a "Rock Star" by the grand kids and more.
The swing is perfect. I've read some reviews about the swing not swinging very high. I think it is perfect. I wouldn't want it to swing any higher at this age, especially for a small playset, its not made for it. The slide is nice. Its a great beginner playset for teaching my grandson. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a small child just learning to climb and slide.
We gave this to my daughter for her first birthday. She absolutely loves the swing and the slide is the perfect size for her. We hope to get a few more years of fun out of this swing set. My only negative comment is that it was a little more difficult to put together than I thought. Definitely need two sets of hands for some of the assembly. Overall great value and great product!!
This product was easy to put together and only took me about 45 minutes. The construction is all plastic so is pretty flimsy. The slide and climbing wall side of the playset is nice but I was disappointed in the swing. The construction makes it so that the swing has a limit on how far forward and backward it can swing. (Which means it barely moves) When all is said and done, my 1 year old daughter enjoys it for now, but I question how long she can use it.... Maybe 1 year.
Wish it was a little more sturdy. Wish the swing had a larger motion and more comfortable seat. My child has a hard time getting up the rock wall, but once she's up there, she's a happy girl.
