While this toy does not have all the blinking lights and gadgets that some other ride on models have, it is sturdy and dependable. You will not have to worry about changing batteries when they die, and it will last for a good long while. I bought this for my son on his first birthday. He was still a bit uncoordinated and I felt more comfortable with this model as it wouldn't turn over on him as easily. He was a bit young for it at first, but grew into it quickly. He is now about a year and a half and rides it around the living room all the time. Some kids may be ready for this at one year, some may not. But if not you can still push the child around and they still enjoy it as something to explore. Most kids like the animal theme.
Easy to put together and very cute. But hardy
I bought this for my grandson's first birthday. It was easy to put together. Grandson jumped right on and he had a happy face. He could make it move all by himself. It is safe and sturdy. There are no sharp edges. Little Tykes is a brand you can trust. This will last and last. Even if left out int he rain it will still work well.

Bought this for my nephew for his birthday and he loved it. I had it shipped directly to his house and was VERY happy with how fast Walmart shipped!!!!!
My son recieved this for his 1st birthday & Loves it...we keep it inside & he rides it around all the time! Easy assembly & I would recommend it to anyone with a child learing to ride on a self-push toy!
i bought this item for my granddaughter on her first birthday and she loves it it is just the right size for smaller kids she loves the fact she can carry and get on this toy by herself
Love the look and stabilityof product; however, daughter (18mo) has difficulty riding it because when she moves her feet she ends up kicking the front wheels. She has to spread her legs far apart in order to ride it or take really tiny steps. Sorry, I'm going to give it away and get something else that will allow her to move her feet freely without getting stuck under the wheels!
way too small for 2 year old
My children kept hitting their feet on the front two wheels. The design would have worked better for my children if the single wheel was in the front and the double wheels were in the back like a trike.
