Until I discovered Loctite's "Plastics Bonding System", I had no way to securely bond polyethylene. Near as I can tell, this is the same (or at least functionally equivalent) chemical as the "activator" in the Plastics Bonding System, but in a significantly larger quantity, which makes it easy to be sure you have covered the entire surface area adequately. I use this to prep HDPE and LDPE surfaces for bonding with superglue, and it works great. One good feature of this bottle is that the activator appears not to evaporate away, which is a complaint of users of the Plastics Bonding System. In that product, the chemical is contained in what looks like a felt-tip pen. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
