I couldn't be happier with the Lodge 3 qt covered casserole. I ordered it through WalMart.com and it arrived earlier than promised (along with my other Lodge products) and in great shape. I have a new induction range and purchased all new cookware. I am so pleased with this purchase I can't wait to order the 6 qt. when it is available.
Just got this & used it last night to fry chicken. It worked like a charm. It takes a little longer to cook/get hot but at least we're not eating non-stick particles. I should also mention that my cooktop has the cast iron burners which I really like. It's too bad they don't manufacure them anymore because they're very easy on maintenance. I also have the Lodge Preseasoned 3 qt. chicken fryer but I can only cook 2 breasts at a time in it plus a couple of legs or thighs. We are a household of 2 so a larger pan was not necessary for us. This enamel is so easy to clean. Rice cooks in the Dutch oven & doesn't stick. I can't believe it. I have not had this casserole long enough to bake a casserole but I'm sure it will do a nice job. This is not a light weight pan & you MUST use potholders. I was a little hesitant about the Cafe color but actually I like it as it is a more neutral color than red or blue.
