I recently got into live streaming. trying to not break the bnk with buying gear and not sure how it is going to go, i got a cheap camera. well i had a very hard time with the cheap camera and using a green screen or even just blurring the background. i got the C920s plugged it in and downloaded the recommended drivers. opened OBS studio added the canera and instantly the preview of the stream looked clean, crisp, and the detail of the camera made the purchase worht the money.
I use the webcam for office meetings and it has been working very well. It works great with MS Teams and Zoom.
It says "Works on Chromebook" but in reality it doesn't on certain apps. The camera app on the Chromebook recognizes it immediately, so you're good to take video and pictures with it in a pinch. But if you want to use the Logitech camera for other apps (Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, etc.) they each need to have a menu option to switch your camera from the Chromebook cam to the Logitech cam. If that option is not available on the app itself, you're out of luck. Without the option, most apps will default to the Chromebook cam, which makes the Logitech cam useless. So it really depends which apps you're using. It's great for Zoom (which has the option). Google Meet (has the option, but seemed to be choppier quality), and Skype I couldn't even figure out a way to get it to work (no option menu to change cams). When it works, the 1080p video is excellent, and does a good job automatically adjusting the atmosphere and lighting to make you look best. Definite upgrade over the 720p camera that comes with most Chromebooks. The privacy shutter adds a nice layer of security and is easy to use and install. The microphone within the Logitech cam is not great, but it works clearly for video calls at basic talking volume. If you're performing music, singing, or yelling, or a regular live streamer, I would recommend getting a separate mic.

I expressly bought this webcam, so I could speak with friends, share videos, apparently I can't even speak to them and having friends try to lip-read what I'm saying renders this webcam useless. My being on a tight budget, it was a total waste of money... Great picture, but without a working microphone, I felt like I threw my money into the fire. I should have spent my money on a cheaper webcam...
No documentation / instructions on how to install or operate the webcam. I eventually found installation instructions on-line. After installing the program, it did not run (kept telling me that another program was using the camera, which it was not), the microphone was not working, and no operating instructions were available to troubleshoot the issues. I deleted and re-downloaded the program several times and encountered the same problems. After many futile attempts to get the webcam and its program to work, I gave up on it and sent it back to the seller (through Walmart) the next day. With the excellent reputation of Logitech, I have been trying to purchase this model webcam for well over a year, so I was so delighted to finally find it available and purchased it immediately. It was delivered within just 2 days of my placing the order. Unfortunately, I was completely dissatisfied with both the product and the lack of any customer support. I gave this item a 1-star rating because there was no rating available for Zero stars. I am still waiting for my refund!
I purchased this webcam from seller AmzBuys. It was not listed that this camera did not come in original packaging. The camera came in a plain brown box and did not even come with instructions. When I inspected the product, I was uncertain that it was new or even a genuine product. I contacted the seller multiple times, and have not gotten a response. I highly reccommend to avoid this seller.
It's used! It has a strong odor and the picture is not good at all. It came without instructions and the box is torn and was very dusty.
I haven't received my product yet because the shipping was delayed.
