A well built system and great looking with very fast response. They need to update software and some operations are not easy to program. It works great after getting set up for each plane and / or program game you want to use. Be ready to spend some time at setup.
Buyer beware for this Price ! You would think for the money, you'd get something of top notch quality. This is NOT the case with this flight system. FYI, This is a logitech produced product which owns this, not Saitek to start with, I'm sure it was bought out. Long story short. Not recommended for any given Flight Sim's. I own all of them, P3D, FSX, FSX-SE and xPlane. All of which I use hard. xPlane is impossible to program any drivers with this, its a hit or miss in xPlane. The rest are ok. The Throttle is a complete Joke! (will tell more below). However, I am impressed with the Joystick itself, very accurate, and has multiple switches for your programming needs. There is however a drawback, you can NOT use the joystick without the throttle, as the throttle is the "Only" USB connection, then the joystick via/link cable, hooks into the throttle. This is a Major Major drawback, especially if you have a Custom Cockpit, there is very little room on the extension of the cable between the two. There should be 2 USB connections, not One ! Second, but not least, the throttle has whats called a "Detent" plastic block inside of the throttle itself, this puts a severe tension on the back and forth motion of the throttle. Also you can definitely feel it as you move it. I have removed it(via youtube DIY), thus voiding the warranty of course.Somewhat better, but to stiff still. The profiles systems do Not work in P3D, they work with a lot of hard programming in FSX's. Thus making the MFD mostly useless of course. The Tension adjuster never worked out of the box, and from friends, others do not also. Tried to adjust the tension via/side adjuster, works very very little. Again, Hence, "useless". This is a sin about the setup of this system, as the Joystick is Outstanding. The lack of 2 USB plugs limits your ability of course to mix and match, and for this kind of money this should not happen. So Buyer, do your research, this is not the answer if your a Flight Simmer, look elsewhere, I've been around Sims since Sub-Logics A.T.P. , and this is the worse system I've ever bought. My 3D Extreme PRO is Far far better then this ! And 140 bucks cheaper.
only works on PC. not compatible with xbox or ps4. i overpaid 1 year ago. you'd think that a $240 controller would be compatible with multiple platforms.
