I have been receiving ongoing complimentary comments on my eye shadow from friends to co-workers to cashiers since I began using this shade. I've even had strangers come up to me in public and ask what I'm wearing. Unfortunately, I can't often find my shade in retail outlets anymore, so have been stocking up online.
I only have one bad thing to say about this product....... NOBODY IS CARRYING IT IN A STORE AROUND ME ANYMORE!! This is the only eyeshadow I wear. It has the perfect metallic sparkle; blends well; stays on well; doesn't run out as fast as other shadows do; can be used wet or dry for even more dramatic intense looks(perfect for a change for going to clubs without having to experiment with crazy colors of makeup); the only shade on the market that perfectly suits me. While I have brown eyes, it still is perfect for me because I have auburn (red) hair, so it perfectly balances my dark red hair and almost auburn eyes. Please don't stop making it!! It took me forever to find an eyeshadow I like....& I can't imagine being able to ever take a picture again without it!
This is the first time I have used L'Oreal Paris Hip eyeshadow in Metallic, and it works great. It's the best eyeshadow I've ever bought and used. The color is great, and makes my eyes look amazing. I get compliments, and friends asking to use my product. I definately recommend this to everyone, great colors, great coverage
Platinum has been a staple on my makeup bag. It looks amazing on, and I have used the silver color with the purple color pot as well. It stays on all day, and creates a beautiful look. I constantly get compliments when I wear it. Keep making HIP shadows Loreal!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hands down, L'Oreal Professional Metallic Duos are my favorite eyeshadow I have tried, rivaling brands that cost five times as much. It has rich, gold and bronze colors that stay on all day and night. It is denser than some other L'Oreal eye shadows, so the product will last for ages! Only caveat is that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find in local stores.
I used this with a mixing medium and the color really popped. The silver color is completely opaque and is comparable to mac pigments. Both the black and silver are sparkly and perfect for a dramtic smokey eye.
I have several of these HiP Duos and I love them all, I've been using them the last 5 years. My all time favorites are Saucy and Reckless.
I have had this in my stash for a while, and I forgot about them. But I found them, and started using them, and now I'm obsessed. The pigment, minimal fallout, and they're extremely buttery and smooth. I love them!! I do however own a duo called "Animated" which isn't available anymore, sadly:/
I first got the shade gunmetal as a gift. Now I want to buy more of them! They truly shade your eyelids with a rich color! And I love how it comes with a mirror. I really like the variety of color available. but my favorite part is how richly and vibrantly the shadow glides on.
i loved the color and the way it looked on me but for some odd reason my eyelids were itching and 2 days later my eyes were swollen and really puffy!!!!
