My natural base color is in the "5" range, and this adds a nice shade of red without it being too bright or too harshly dark for me. Love that the Natural match products don't stink and cover my 'white' gray hairs. Only negative (not related to the product's performance) is that I now need to find another place which carries this color, since my regular store not only stopped carrying all of the shades of red, but all of the Loreal Natural Match products altogether, including the ash brown.
My old hair color did a great job. But as I got older, I noticed that my hair was getting drier after I colored. I was having problrms with frizz that really detracted from my dark, shoulder length hair. My hair stylist told me if I didn;t want to have the color done by her, I should try a non-ammonia product like Natural Match. I used the 4W Darkn Golden Brown and was delighted to new highlights where the old color had faded. My hair lost the friz, too. I love this product!
I have my hair cut at one of the best salons in this city. But I can't afford to have both the cut and color done there. My stylist recommended L'Oreal and the color. It's perfect. The stylists and patrons have complimented my color many times. They think my stylist did it as color is her specialty. I do have to condition well. I prefer a non-permanent, wash-out product. But this is easy to use and doesn't stink! My complaint is L'Oreal (or local stores) seems to be discontinuing the product.
When my bank account took a hit, I started coloring at home. I've been using this for about a year and I get compliments ALL of the time, EVEN at the salon where I get my hair cut! They think it's a professional job every time! Looks like they are discontinuing this since I see it on clearance at the store. I'm assuming "Healthy Look" is taking its place and I hope it is just as good!
This colour was much better than I expected. I am new at colouring (have some noticeable greys) and had tried a semi-perm colour that just didn't take because my greys are very resistant to colour...Natural match blended the greys and absolutely matched my natural colour! Not darker or lighter...just perfect! My hair seriously looks GREAT...completely natural...no one would have noticed tha even coloured...my grey are just nicely blended in (they were "tinted" nicely like brown highlights)!
I absolutely loved this product. I was very worried that it would be way to harsh with my skin tone but it was perfect. Not too black and not too brown, the perfect color! It lasted a long time as well and made my hair feel really soft and shinny!
I am 75 years old and since I was 50 I have tried many different brands and types of hair coloring - I don't want to have gray hair yet I want to look natural, not colored. I can't afford coloring at my hair salon. Recently I found Loreal's Natural Match 6N and tried it - I was delighted and amazed. The color was natural and it lasted quite a long while. It is without a doubt the best hair coloring I have every found and I will keep using it as long as I can find it.
I purchased this product at the drugstore when I couldn't find my usual brand; I am really impressed- I may never go back! Usually when I color my hair at home my hair feels kind of dry; I have just accepted that it will take a few washes to get my hair back to how shiny and soft it normally is but Natural Match left my hair soft and silky; and even better- it left my hair with an amazing shine! Three weeks later, and it's still so shiny! I love it.
I have always gone to the salon to get my hair done. My husband and I are trying to save money so, I decided to do it myself. My hair looks great. No one will know my secret!!
I used Natural Match shade 5R on Tuesday night...My hair is just a bit darker than the 'before' picture on the top of the box, and my results were NOTHING like the 'after' picture. We followed the directions to a t, and while we could tell that the gray was covered, there was no real discernable difference in the shade of my hair. And now, two days later, it's as if I never colored it...gray is appearing at my part and in my temples again. Not at all satisfied.
