I love love love this product! My hair is naturally kinky and curly and also dark brown, so I initially expected to have no results. The ends of my hair are slightly lifted, though, and are regular brown and light brown and some places (curtsey to a past failed attempt at dying my hair blonde). Anyway, I first used the burgundy dye a few months back. I was PLEASANTLY surprised with the results. It had a purplish hue to it and showed up on my dark hair quite visibly. I also do not wash my more than 1-2 times a week (due to my kinky hair needing to maintain its natural oils) and this color lasted over 2 months. Its vibrancy did gradually fade, though. This morning, I decided (having been 4 months since the last time I colored my hair) that I wanted my hair to be red for the rest of the summer. I swung by Walmart and picked up this product in the color red. First, I shampooed my hair. Next, I followed the advice of a video review that I saw and mixed half of the dye with my favorite deep conditioner before lathering it in my hair to seal in moisture (not that this product is drying or damaging). At first I had forgotten how long it takes to rinse out in the shower after the 30 minute process. Other than that tedious job, the results were MAGNIFICENT. My hair is very soft and moisturized and also smells amazing! The best part, though, is that the color turned out amazing. My light brown ends faded to dark so I was worried that the color wouldn't stick... BUT IT DID. AND IT LOOKS AMAZING.
I was super pleased with this semi-permanent dye. It lasted about a month and the color was perfect for my darkish brown hair.
it worked good but when I washed my hair second time, I saw my white/gray hair....sad
We used this on my daughter's hair a few times. We applied it on her medium blonde hair and it came out really cool. Bright orange color. Lasted a long time. Much longer than box said it would. It did fade but it faded into a softer orange. Super easy to use. It comes with an applicator brush. I put it into a bowl and dipped the brush in and applied it.
turned my hair cherry red! looks a bit orange sometimes. the coverage is okay. i paid $6 for 2 day shipping but came in 4 days!
