After going from a darker brown trying to bleach up to White my hair turned a brassy reddish orange I use this toner and it literally worked it brought it back up to a yellow blonde which is fine I didn't expect miracles but it did what it was supposed to do and I did go by a purple blue toner which will also tone it down a little more meaning I bought the shampoo after but the toner did its job and did exactly what it was supposed to do I would suggest two boxes if you have medium long hair
I was getting grey, so I thought I would try it all over. I have a light brown hair with some grey, his gave me a beautiful silver grey color! I get a lot of compliments. People think it's my natural hair. I would recommend this ! Also very conditioning! My hair feels so nice!
i couldn't get the full bleached hair, just yellow orange, so i tried this color to get platinum and it worked! All depends how much grey, blue or white you want is the time that you leave it on. I wanted more blue so i left it 1 hr and the result was an smoke grey blue so pretty! I just love it!
Beware the color is golden platinum If you put the color tube into the bleach. It deposits to any darker hair and any old highlights you may have. I finally used a toner last night to get to a cooler tone. Pictures are right after the initial process and two days later after using Wella TC 18 Toner. Enjoy!
I LOVE this color and the vibrancy is amazing. I think some people have issues because of either there natural hair color being too dark or they try to dye it too soon after bleaching which can COMPLETELY mess up your results !! Always wait about a week or two after bleaching hair to use these kind of colors. (Or any color for that matter) anyways! I'm always happy with it, and here's what it looks like in my hair when it's freshly done.
I had been getting my hair highlighted in the salon over the past few months but the blonde and the base color were very warm. I tried going to the salon to have the color toned but the results lasted a matter of days. I even bought special toning shampoos and conditioners and those still didn't tone my hair down to the desired look so I decided it was time to go back to box dye. This color caught my eye because it was a very dark and cool toned shade of brown. The application of the product was somewhat easy on my long hair and the smell was not too overbearing. After washing and drying my hair I was surprised at how light the color turned out. My highlights are more blended but you can still see the color variations in my hair. I would say this color is closer to a medium brown then a dark brown. It has a little bit of warmth to it. It didn't exactly turn out like the photo on the box but I'm still happy with the color. My hair also feels soft to the touch and looks healthier than before I colored it. I will be using this product again in a few months to touch up the color.
its pretty and darkens perfectly while its setting but every time i rinse it runs off some of the hair and sticks on others. ive never had much luck with this brand but was hoping this would stick. ive done it twice and still cant get it to take. but idk about other colors and im always willing to try the same thing with different colors so we'll see for the next time. photos are after 1st and 2nd with the light blue. my hair has always dyed extremely well so this was disappointing to say the least.
Expected better for the price point and Since it was L'Oréal thought it would be a quality product.. My hair is BRASSIER than it's ever been in my life -I followed instructions to the letter except I even went 2 min.. less and now my hair is sorta fried and brittle.. Yikes
I started out with platinum blonde hair with darker roots and wanted to go closer to a silver, so I bought the pastel Smokey blue from loreal. My hair turned SMURF BLUE, after only 10 minutes of processing! I washed it MULTIPLE TIMES to get the blue out and it is STILL bright blue!! I'm devastated!
The box was practically falling apart and wasn't properly sealed. It also looks like it's an old design? Because it does not match the photo on the product listing. Thankfully it looks like all the correct components are still inside, but my goodness… I don't know if I'm brave enough to still color my hair with this…
