Best color and coverage
Is good brand
I've been using #5 for a long time. (years). About a year or so ago, the #3 tube of conditioner cracks open on the side every time. It's so annoying. I tried other brands when this started happening but end up back with Excellence because I like the coverage as my hair is white now, not gray so this product does a good job. I like the color and that it comes with a shampoo. The only reason for a 4 rating is the problem with the conditioner tube. I don't have a lot of time for reviews but after so long "hoping" the problem would be fixed or maybe it just a bad batch..... I felt compelled to tell someone as it's this way in "every" box I buy. It says "optional" for photos and I have a photo but there isn't a place to upload it.
The hair color results are perfect. The problem is with the Caring Deep Conditioner tube. The tube has been defective in the last several boxes I have purchased. The tube is split along the Sean and the conditioner is leaking out.
I see I am not the only person who has seen this. I have been buying this product for years and now the seam on the conditioner is in a bad spot. You try to use it and the seam splits and is a big mess.
I have been buying this product for a long time, too, and tonight another one of the red conditioner tubes split at the seam. The white ones never did this, and now last month and tonight, too. It seeps out all down the side. Excellence cream, step #4, just like the other lady said in her review.
I have been using this product for over 10 years and have loved it and I really like the Deep Conditioner that came with it. The last two times that I have colored my hair, I noticed that the Deep Conditioner packaging has changed and the change was for the worst! When I squeeze the tube of conditioner, instead of coming out of the top, the side seam bursted open and all the conditioner fell out of the container and fell to the bottom of my shower and then down the drain! I thought this might be an isolated incident and didn't think about it again...until it happened again the next time that I colored my hair! Grrrrrrr! Please Please Please get new packaging!
What has happened to this hair dye? It's not dying the hair around my forehead or sides! Also the conditioner tube splits open on the side! This has all occurred the last three times I've used it. It used to be my favorite for the last 6 years, but I might have to look for another brand. I am so disappointed.
I'm having the same issues as a lot of other women with this product. It's not covering like it used to and the last two packages have had the same problem with the conditioner splitting over and making a mess. The first time I thought it was just a fluke but after the second time and seeing that it's a common issue I wonder why L'Oréal doesn't do something about it.
Fix the conditioner tube! I just bought one box in which it was already split open and dried out- went to another store and bought another, opened it to find the same thing! Split all the way down the side. So frustrating!
