I do like the fact that baby monitor now include the video camera option. This helps lessen the worry on the fact that us mother's wanting to see our baby at night to make sure that he/she is okay.
I bought this and a Mobi and this one blows the mobi out of the water as far as reception and picture quality. Both exceed my expectations on this set. My only complaint at the moment is there is no continuous sound. The sound only activates when the decibel level reaches a certain point so you will not be able to hear normal room noises, breathing, and softer noises like movement and whimpering. If there was an option for constant audio I would say this would be the perfect unit.
works better then i though it would.small screen is very clear !
Pros: Works throughout 2000 sq ft main floor as well as 2000 sq ft in basement. Can program so picture stays on at all times or goes off after amount of time you pick from choices. Picture comes out well in B/W. Picks up if outside on porch but not much farther. Cons: Does not pick up sound as well as hoped. Sound goes off receiver after few seconds and does not come on unless loud enough. The closer you put monitor to sound the better. Color not good if needed. Would like a wider, panning range to view an entire room. Uses: To safety monitor mother-in-law who has dementia and other health issues. Works OK for this except for above listed cons.
