Cute house

This product is really cute and has lots of interactive sayings. Haven't checked out the website yet but my 2 year old loves the house. Only downside is it comes with 2 dolls and 1 chair-that is it! All the other stuff you have to buy seperately and it is not cheap to furnish the whole house. You will probably spend at least $150 to buy the house and accessories.

When I first started looking at dollhouses, I couldn't believe the prices! First you have to buy the house, then you have to buy everything in it! This is true for most of the ones I've seen, this one is no exception. However, after seeing how this is made and visiting the website, I was impressed by how compact it was as well as the interactive features. My 3 year old daughter adores this house (she is usually one who explores by "deconstructing" things), and spends a lot of time playing with it. She has had it 2 months, and the only parts that don't seem to stay on are the stairs and chimney. It's true that 2 children can play on it, as my 7 year old plays with her, too. We also purchased Family night, Pet Playground, Book at Bedtime, and Table Manners accessories which have enhanced the experience. Note, there isn't too much storage in the built-in drawer, and once closed the accessories don't fit too well, but a shoe sized plastic storage bin solved this for us. I just wish they made more accessories! Another plus is that it already comes with batteries (a lifesaver at Christmas time) so it's ready to go. Mrs. Goodbee isn't a constant talker, which is great if you aren't a fan of noisy annoying toys. But, her doorbell is pretty realistic (my Dad actually got up to answer our door). So, especially now with the price drop, if you have a little girl and you are considering a dollhouse, this one is great!

I purchased this product for my grandchild who is 3 years old. She absolutely loves it. She plays for hours and loves the interaction with the dollhouse. I recommend this product to all parents who want to teach their children about social awareness.

My daughter got this dollhouse for her third birthday, September 6th. She still plays with it now, and we've managed to collect all the sets that go along with it as well, except the little boy. From my point of view: The house is a little annoying with the singing. It is large, but it also folds down and is easily stored. All the pieces fit inside simply when you do so, too. The songs and phrases the dollhouse uses are great to encourage manners and good behavior. The pieces are cute and detailed like most Fisher Price dollhouse items. I am upset that I haven't been able to find the little boy, and was told that it was never released. Hoping that will be changed! Also, there is a Grandmother but no Grandpa! Hoping they build more onto this set. From my daughter's opinion: She uses this dollhouse with her other Fisher Price dolls and furniture, and both of the houses she uses can be interchanged pretty easily. She also uses her Littlest Pet Shop toys with it! She sings the songs and enjoys them, and had a lot of fun the first few weeks discovering all the interactive sounds/songs. She still plays with it often, so that is always a good sign! This house works especially well when she has friends over, during playdates. There are two sides, so there is plenty of room for several children to interact and play, which encourages sharing but gives each child their own space! I think this is a perfect gift for any little girl!

My mother bought this for our daughter this past Christmas. My daughter is only 1 1/2, and I wasn't expecting her to have a lot of interest at this age. Boy was I wrong, she loves it!! It's April now, and this is still the first thing she plays with in the morning. I think her favorite part is that the house interacts, so she can play on her own and still be enjoying herself for long periods of time. The doll teaches manners and good stewardship (talks about brushing teeth, treating pets well, cleaning up your toys...the list goes on) through several buttons all over the house. The button in the babies crib makes a crying sound and sings a lullabye. The dog bed button barks, and when you press the button twice, it will ask to play a song for the dog by pressing on the stereo. So my daughter is all over the place pressing buttons (even the toilet flushes). My favorite is Mrs. Goodbee's voice, it is reminiscent of Mary Poppins, so comforting. My husband and I are always reciting her catchy little songs. And, something I really appreciate; this company has partnered with Goodwill, they ask that you fill the box the dollhouse comes in with donation items and when your child brings them to a Goodwill store, they get a special certificate for their compassion(which has a "secret code" for unlocking games online). We did this too, what an awesome learning experience for a kid!! Now what dollhouse does this?? The only downside is the cost of accessories. We have chosen to purchase them one at a time (they range from $5-16) and give them out as gifts for birthday, easter, etc. The house does come with a little girl, a baby, and a dog however. I love this dollhouse, and my daughter too most importantly, when she gets a little older we can go online and access games through the secret codes you get with the house and accessories.

My daughter is 2 yo (+4months) and plays with the house a few times a week. Her older friends come over and play with it even more than she does. My issues with the house are: * Lots of available accessories, but little room to store them in the house. * Lack of men/boy figures * No latch to keep the house closed * No handle to help carry the house when you need to move it. I do like how it folds up and out of the way, but you will need another bag or box to keep all the little people and accessories that you end up with. So, ultimately, it has made my daughter happy and she will like have more fun with it as time goes by.

This was bought for my daughter's 3rd Birthday. She plays with it alot. I love that it talks and makes sounds. I think kids like that more than a plain quiet dollhouse.

The Mrs. Goodbee house is very cute. I got it for my just-turned-5 year old for Christmas. She loves to pretend so it was nice. She likes receiving stickers for her Garden of Good Deeds. The house only comes with a girl doll, a baby, and a dog which I knew beforehand by reading other reviews, so if you look on the box and expect more, you will be disappointed. My daughter just used some of her tiny dolls from other toys she already had. Be sure to pull the tab out after you buy it or the "hotspots" won't work. That may be in the instructions, but I didn't see them and all Mrs. Goodbee did for the first hour or so was sing her little intro song. Again, a cute little dollhouse and my daughter really seems to like it. Just don't be fooled by all the items included on the picture on the box.

This house has an adorable concept. The sayings and all are very cute and the color scheme as well. Here are my issues: 1. The beautiful set of stairs leading up to the front door, which has a doorbell...but the door does not open. You have to walk around the house. This is senseless to me. 2. Almost none of the furniture fits into the house! You have to place it all on the floor outside of the house. As for the few pieces that do fit into the house, the floor is so flimsy that it is constantly snapping off at the hinge on the lower floors. 3. The sets that you buy for the house are very repetitive and you end up with multiples of each doll. This is only if you can find the sets of course because that is a mission all its own. The birthday table/ pizza party set has no chairs, but does have another little girl I don't need. 4. The stickers, O my, what a tedious job! God forbid you put one on the wrong side of the house or a little crooked, because you are not getting another shot at it!!! 5. The house that we purchased was not even painted as advertised ( the back wall of the house and all the flowers on it were just cream colored, not the pretty colors shown in pictures. As for my next issue, This could be a pro and a con. 6. The 2 separate sides of the house... If you have 2 or more children that don't like to play to closely together this could be great for you. How ever, if you would like to play with your child...I found it extremely annoying to have to walk back and forth from one side of the house to the other in order to play in the different rooms. Perhaps if they had put all the bedrooms on one side and all the functional/living rooms on the other side it would not have been as bad. One other thing I just didn't get was that they found it necessary to make a bathroom with a sink and a potty but no tub or shower? Not a big deal, but just didn't make sense to me. If your going to play pretend in a bathroom what kid doesn't love a bath. Overall, The concept is great and the decor is absolutely adorable, but the house needs considerable work as far as structural integrity. The additional packages available for purchase need to be much better thought out as well! No one wants multiples of the same dolls, or incomplete dining room sets. And if anyone was considering buying the RV van that goes with this set STAY AWAY! That thing was the cheapest hunk of plastic ever! And I am a very fair reviewer. I sat on this for quite a while. We returned the house and van and got the Loving Family Grand Dollhouse and I am so thrilled with it (even with the lack of furniture) that I really thought I should share our experience. Good luck, and hope this helps.
