This the third pocket scope I have owned in about 40 years. The first 2 were purchased from a different Store, but it is identical. At 30 power it is still manageable in terms of focus and field of view. The first one was liked so well by someone that they kept it, I got some chemicals on the second and could no longer focus. I've looked at bugs (fleas and ticks, nasty looking creatures), clothing material (the weave can be a work of art), metal and wood surfaces (not a smooth as you think), and plenty of splinters ( and the needle I used to dig them out). An electronic store carries bulbs, keep an extra.
Works great to look at small things!
