Perfect board for homeschooling and tutoring. Easy to ensemble. Great quality! I highly recommend it.
We got this for both home schooling and work related discussion during this covid19 lockdown. Installation was a snap and the quality of the board seems very good. Kids also love to doodle on this as well. Would recommend this if you have space for a home office.
Exactly what we were looking wanted for a school classroom. The price was great and the quality was good. The board was NOT damaged in shipping. It was certainly nice to get what we wanted for a price we could afford.
This is a fine board. It is solid and is rigid when mounted properly. It takes two people to mount to a wall. I would not hollow-mount exclusively, get as many clips into studs as possible. It will hold any objects that have magnets on them like refrigerator clips and such, but it doesn't have a built-in magnet to hold ordinary metal objects. All surfaces come protected by film which must be removed for use. The item was delivered by a professional truck line, not UPS or FedEx, and there was no damage on the box at all. As a 30-year veteran teacher, I give high marks.
This is a high quality magnetic whiteboard. The instructions, however, leave much to be desired. This is because the directions are for 36x24 or 48x36 boards, the one that I purchased is a 60x40 model. For those interested, I mounted the brackets roughly 9" from the corners, but I'd strongly advocate that if you can get those brackets into a stud (at least one side of them), please try to do so. Also, you should mount the brackets (for the 60x40 model) about 38 7/8" above the bottom holes. I made the mistake of using their logic for the smaller boards (i.e. height minus 2") and the brackets don't have enough movement to accommodate so I had to use larger screws. To prevent against that, I'd recommend going height minus 1.5", so roughly 38 3/8".
Bought this board for my 5 year old grandsons birthday. He loves to draw and this was perfect for him. Its durable and came with good hanging instructions and hardware. My first order was lost by FEDEX, but Walmart handled it and and it was received the day before his party! He loves it!
Only 59 inches wide, the marker tray is only half the width of the board. Instructions for the board are for the wrong size, and even then don't properly describe how to mount the board to the wall. Even so, less than $100 for a large magnetic whiteboard board is still pretty good.
Love the board, not so much the installation. This dry erase board is a very nice quality and Im sure it will last years. The installation does take 2 people because the board is heavy and its awkward to handle. The bracketing hardware is nice but presents a difficult time for folks not used to putting up a board like this. The manufacturer could have made it easier by supplying an easier bracketing system. All that said we still give this board a 4 for its quality, usability and price.
They advertise this as magnetic-so I ordered it to hold all my golf ball markers. Every one of them slid off. So, I could not use it. Seems like the advertising should be changed.
Made in U No Where. It is magnetic, but.... The magnetic surface does NOT allow a firm magnetic attachment. It is fairly useless hang anything more than a single sheet of paper. Packaging and shipping caused damage. The package was dented in 3 areas and there were numerous punctures in the cardboard. One of which caused a significant dent in the whiteboard.
