It comes with the screws and pre drilled holes to attach. It is the size of my front door. It will help if your door is prone to water coming under when it rains alot.

During the winter snow would come in underneath and on the sides of the bottom. This will help solve that problem because it will divert it away. It feels nice and strong so it will be OK if it accidentally gets kicked. There are predrilled holes and screws so it has everything ready to be installed.
