Purchased two carrier racks for my bikes to attach Schwinn Basic Bicycle Rack Cargo Bags. The rack is a good product that is easy to install and very sturdy. My only issue was the fact that the two screws to attach it to the frame tabs were the wrong size for my bike.
Istructions need work. If your mechanically inclined you can just study the parts and picture for a successful build Danke
It hard to find a rear rack that fit a 24" bike. This one fit perfectly.
My carrier rack came in a blister package with all the parts since it is universal that you custom fit to your bike. The two largest bolts do not have nuts and are used on the lower frame to connect to rear wheel frame , I had to drill out my lower holes in frame a size smaller than the large bolts then treaded them to the frame which makes a very sturdy fit for the rack the bolts are stainless steel and you can use them to thread the holes if you do not have a threader I had to cut my threaded bolt on the area of my gears with a hacksaw to clear chain in smallest gear (about a 10 min job) After all connected this is a very solid fit if you are not a mechanical minded person have some one you know install you bike rack (You will like it)
The instructions were german translated into english and the translation was lacking. After inspecting the parts and the way it appeared it needed to be installed, I looked at a few other bikes around the island and decided I needed to drill and tap 4 holes to make it all work. It came out perfect and very strong. You'll need to have access to a few tools to make it work but it is worth it.
Purchased this bicycle carrier for my motorized bicycle build. The wheels I have on this bike are 29 inch. Although this size was not in the description there was plenty of room to adjust to fit. The hardware is very sturdy and holds up well to vibration and at speeds of 30 mph with some jarring bumps now and then. I like the bracket in the back which can be used for a rear tail light or in my case to attach a license plate. Good quality item.
the directions are in german but was not hard to figure out. two bolts were not the right size for my bike but a quick trip to the local hardware store and I was good to go.
This rack was a good purchase for the price. "Tongue and groove" fitting for support arms from rear bike frame to top cargo peice makes for a strong connection. Allen head bolts throughout. The assembly instructions were massively confusing, had to refer to YouTube videos and a photo to assemble. Once built, it's very sturdy and strong. I've had 30 lbs of cargo on it, held tightly.
Appears well made and an excellent value. My previous black painted carrier (not this model) peeled badly after a short time. I'll have to wait and see how this holds up. Thinking of spraying a clear coat of enamel for extra protection. Instructions need improvement.
It took longer than you would expect, but it really worked out great. Just take your time, and it may be good to have a couple extra screws that fit the wholes built into the bike under the seat. I'd buy another for our other bike if I needed one.
