This is ludicrous but enjoyable low-budget fare from Crown International Pictures about an unstoppable multi-racial trio of martial arts killers created by a secret organization to destroy anyone that opposes them. After the killers (who, contrary to the poster art, are not robots but rather humans under the influence of mind-controlling drugs) make short work of an organized crime outfit and a martial arts school, the lone survivor of the school attack decides to fight back using his training. Exploitation fans looking for some lowbrow entertainment will probably be amused by this offbeat actioner, which attempts to strike a serious tone but fails due to the amateurish acting and mediocre fight sequences. The film succeeds as an agreeable and nostalgic time-killer for viewers wishing to be transported back to the down and dirty days of '70s-era drive-in features. Rhino's full-frame DVD presentation also includes the original theatrical trailer, which attempts to sell the film as a blend of science fiction and action.
