I received my game a day early then said. It can brand new in package no damage ready to wrap for my son. I absolutely will be purchasing more in the future.
Good except the "music", but that is easy to fix. Go Steelers!
i bought it today but I'll play it soon and see what i think of it. but it looks like a good game. i give it 5 stars.
Great graphics
Compared to my four-year old Madden, there are definitely improvements in gameplay and graphics. Although the story is a basic, I like the addition of creating your own player and bringing him through high school, college and to the pros. The trend it seems in the last couple of years with these get to the pro stories though is that you continue on with your trip to the pros, no matter how you perform in the high school and college portion of the game. I did well in that portion of Madden 21, so I dont know how the game reacts if you fail in the early portion of your career, but I do hope it reflects your performance and is not like my NBA2K game, in which I performed terribly in the start of my career, yet the story continued on with my being the next big phenom. I felt fairly comfortable with the game controls, although there are some slight changes that have taken me some time to get used to. For the most part, the gameplay feels smoother though, although not perfect as there are some occasional annoyances. The coach suggestions dont seem to be improved much for play calling. The graphics are sharp and look really good, although there is some room for improvement. Maybe it is because this is a transition year to the PS5 and the big graphics jump will be in the next years version. The player modeling and stadiums look pretty good though. Even the pregame show and halftime stuff makes me feel like I am watching a real game. The game commentary is good and varied, although gets repetitive over time. The sounds of the game are realistic and really bring you into the game. Big hits really sound like big hits now. The game feels more balanced offensively/defensively with a good running and passing game and a smarter defense, at least in comparison to my old Madden game. The kicking feels smoother compared to 17, which had glitches in the aiming mechanism. There is still some room for improvement for a smarter AI. Some things seem neglected, such as the franchise mode. The soundtrack is ok, but I personally turn the music down as it is annoying at times. I hate that EA kicks you out of the game, even in solo game mode or eye of the franchise if you lose EA server connection. Seriously EA? In the middle of a game, I lose connection to EA and it takes me back to the main menu and forces me to start the game over as it doesnt save your progress. Very frustrating. Granted, this series is in need of some major updates as there are only incremental changes each year and that seems to be the case here as well. The game is still fun and has some improvements that makes it worth paying 20 to make the jump after 4 years, but I would not shell out full price for the game year after year either, for the incremental updates. I hate the network issue kicking you out of games, even playing solo/eye of the franchise. The game is fun, but hampered by its online requirements and unstable EA connection, making it 3 stars instead of 4.
it pretty good it just need more details and graphics
I'm sure my child will love the game, but this was supposed to be a Christmas present from Santa; however the game was delivered in a Walmart plastic sack without any other packaging around the game so that it was hidden. My child happened to be outside when the two games I ordered were delivered so he brought in the sacks and saw the games, then questioned why we bought it instead of getting it from Santa. I am not impressed with how Walmart packages items ordered from Walmart.com. Next time I will just pick up in the store.
So what do you actually get for the $60 you plopped down for this game ? Essentially, an exact copy of last years game (look at some of the graphics in practice mode ... they even say Madden 20) with updates on the rosters. But wait ... you aren’t done paying!!! Madden has moved to a new online focus... which means they will sell you crap all year. This Lazily constructed game will continue to suck cash out of your pocket until next August. My advice, if your kid already owns Madden football… Don’t upgrade. They can download new rosters from the online community for nothing.
This is the worst madden nfl game I ever see you cant play the football game the way used to this is the worst madden NFL football game I ever seen I do not like it they just wanted to get it out early to make money thats all for this year
Ordered for my fiancee off line it came damaged!
